The locomotive had a short career in 1945 with the CSD - Ceskoslovenské Státni Dráhy, Czech-Slovakia under Soviet contral before joining thet PKP - Polskie koleje Panstwowe, both as No. 52 2817.

The locomotive was originally to be built as BLW 15914 but circumstances, prevented this at the time which was diverted to Henschel who delivered it to the DRB - Deutsche Reichsbahn as No. 52 817 and a year later it went to the RBGD - Reichsbahn General Directorate of the British Zone of Occupation, Bielefeld in the same identity. This became in 1946 the HVE - Main administration of the railways of the American and British occupation area, later the Railway Department into the Transport Administration that in 1949 formed the ensuing, DB - Deutsche Bundesbahn. The locomotive was retired from work here in 1951 and subsequently was sold to the JDŽ - Jugoslovenske državne železnic, Belgrade, Yugoslavia as No. 33-236 that in 1954 became the JŽ - Jugoslovenske Železnice, Belgrade. It later went to the YU] "33-236"coal mine company Kreka, Tuzla - then also Yugoslavia, now Bosnia-Herzegovenia and where it was stored in 2020.

As previously mentioned, the locomotive was originally to be built as BLW 15890 but was delivered by Henschel in 07/1944 to the DRB - Deutsche Reichsbahn as No. 52 793 and leased a mere two weeks later to OKH - High Command of the Army, Berlin use by GTrSO - Office of the General for Transport Southeast, Belgrade, Serbia in the same identity before being returned to the DR - Deutsche Reichsbahn, in 1946 last based at Bw Schwerin. In 1947 it went to the MPS - Ministerstvo putej soobšcenija, Soviet Union, again in the same identity and which was not renumbered until 08/1952 as T?-793. Twelve years later, in 1964, it returned to Yugoslavia, on this occasion to what became Bosnia & Herzegovenia, and the coal mine company Kreka, Tuzla as No. 33-504 based on the then JŽ system. It has subsequently long been stored, operational but stored again by 2020.

Translation of Bauunternehmung is Construction Company! This was Gustav Burmeister of Hamburg-Lockstedt to whom it was delivered a week prior to Christmas in 1948 with no recorded identity. It was not until 1980 that it went to the DDM at Neuenmarkt-Wirsberg as their No. 2, where it was stored in 2012.

The locomotive was originally delivered to concrete and construction company Karl Plinke, Hannover (then WEST Germany NOT East!) that in 1961 moved to Quarzwerk, Haltern, West Germany and in 1971, privately to a Mr. Kelsall in Cheshire, UK followed in 1973 by the Bala Lakeside Railway, Wales as their No. 3 followed in 1975 by the Llanberis Lake Railway. It went to the South Tynedale Railway as their No. 14 in 1991.

Originally delivered to construction company Faber & Schnepp, Hoch and Tiefbau, GmbH, Gießen; in 1970 this was at a childrens playground in Gießen-Langgöns and, in 1978 went to Dampfbahn Rhein-Main, Frankfurt (Main) as their No. 3 but in 1993 it was loaned to the Parkeisenbahn Geral, followed in 1994 by the Parkeisenbahn Chemnitz and where it still was in 2013.

Originally delivered to the construction company of Gustav Burmeister at Hamburg-Lokstedt that iby 08/1997 had been stored at his premises. In 2007 it was purchased privately by Ludger Guttwein of EM Prora (though it may have been deployed in Goldau, Switzerland) and, in 10/2010 it went to Mecklenburg-Pommerische Schmalspurbahn Friends e.v, Schwichtenberg where it was on loan until 2012, subsequently used in Klütz where since 2013 it has worked for the Kleinbahn Klütz-Reppenhagen railway.

Dellivery in 1913 to Brothers Himmelsbach KG, wood wholesaler, sawmill and impregnation works, Freiburg (Breisgau) [and later to Karl Richtberg KG, Regensburg plant, Regensburg followed by in 1972 Neuenburg plant, Neuenburg (Rhine). In 1976 to the Marxzell Vehicle Museum, Reichert, Marxzell, Germany where it was in 2003. This has no recorded identity ?

After 45 years of preservation in the UK, former Deutsche Bundesbahn (German Federal Railways) 2-6-2T No. 64305 has now left the Nene Valley Railway and is on her way to Immingham Docks to be shipped back to mainland Europe to be repatriated to Germany, as No. 64305 is now being relocated to her new home near Leipzig in East Germany for restoration.

Delivered in 05/1944 to the DRB - Deutsche Reichsbahn as No. 52 2751 that in 07/1947 was in the hands of the MPS - Ministerstvo putej soobšcenija, Soviet Union in the same guise. It was not until 08/1952 that it was registered and renumbered into the RŽD fleet as T?-2751 though this was returned a decade later to the DR - Deutsche Reichsbahn in its original identity, until 1970 when computerised as No. 52 2751-7. It was taken iut of traffic in 1985 and officially withdrawn the following year. In 1987 it first went as art antique to Kunstverein Mythos Berllin, afterwards as a memorial outside Theater Marl, Marl, Germany - installed lying on its back as "La Tortuga", part of the art object of the artist Vostell.

This was delivered in 04/1944 to the DRB - Deutsche Reichsbahn [as No. 52 2728 that later, almost immediately went to the (on loan) BDŽ - Balgarski Daržavni Železnici, Sofia, Bulgaria in the same identity, later confirmed in 1946 by being renumbered as their No. 15.17. It is believed to still be stored in Asenovo, where it has stood for several years in reserve.

After nearly two decades of work in East Germany it was called to Raw Stendal in late 1961 for reconstruction which included a new boiler from Raw Halberstadt 219/1961) and other new parts. It emerged from herevas No. 52 8039, which was computerised in 1970 as 52 8039-1, and ran until 1990 before being called into Raw for conversion into a non driveable steam generator for Bw Leipzig-Engelsdorf, being withdrawn the following year and subsequently renumbered as 052 039-5 by the now merged DB/DR unified company. In 1994 it went to the IGE "Werrabahn Eisenach" e. V., Eisenach as 52 8039-1 but in 2004 it was purchased privately for the AKO - Arbeitskreis Ostertalbahn e. V., Schwarzerden. In 11/2022 it was plinthed in 11/2022 as a monument in Serengetipark Hodenhagen, Germany.

Delivery in 1944 to the HDŽ - Hrvatske državne železnice, Croatia as No. 30-022 in Croatian State Railways, that in 1945 became JDŽ - Jugoslovenske državne železnic, Belgrade, Yugoslavia as No. 33-037 after end of German occupation. The company became in 1954 JŽ - Jugoslovenske Železnice, Belgrade and following the consequential split of countries went to the ŽMSŽ - Železniški Muzej Slovenskih Železnic, Ljubljana Museum of the Slovenian State Railways, Ljubljana where it was stored in 2007.

This locomotive was originally to be built as BLW 15809 but, due to pertaining technical difficulties the work went instead to Henschel and was delivered in 03/1944 to the DRB - Deutsche Reichsbahn as No. 52 712 and later joined the DR - Deutsche Reichsbahn in the same identity within the newly created GDR. It was called in late 1961 into Raw Stendal for reconstruction with a combustion chamber boiler (Raw Halberstadt 216/1961), mixing preheater type IfS/DR and axle bearing adjusting wedges, emerging from here as No. 52 8037; being computerised in 1970 as No. 52 8037-5, running until 05/1988 though remaining on the books until after the 1991 DB/DR utilisation merger from 01/1992 as 052 037-9, after which it was withdrawn from Bw Hoyerswera a short time later. It then went to the EBG - Eisenbahn-Betriebs-Gesellschaft mbH, Borchen and in 1999 to DEW - Dampfeisenbahn Weserbergland e. V., Rinteln, followed in 2003 to the WAB - Westfälische Almetalbahn GmbH, Altenbeken and, in 2007 to the Bernd Falz Collection, Steam Locomotive Museum Falkenberg (Elster) and where it was stored in 2007.

Delivered in 02/1944 to the DRB - Deutsche Reichsbahn as No. 52 2706 that found itself with the newly created DR - Deutsche Reichsbahn at the end of WW2 in the same identity. It was called in 05/1961 into Raw Stendal for reconstruction with a combustion chamber boiler (SKL Magdeburg 30458/1961), mixing preheater type IfS/DR and axle bearing adjusting wedges, emerging from here as No. 52 8023; being computerised in 1970 as No. 52 8023-5. In 04/1989 it was called into Rbw Meiningen for conversion into a non-drivable heating locomotive (NHL), as part of an L6/K7 investigation, being used as a heating locomotive in Bw Wustermark, to the west of Berlin in its latter identity, being withdrawn in 1991 and at the end of 1993 it was purchased privately by Bernd Falz, first stored at Bw Wustermark, then 1994 - 1996 at Bw Basdorf; 1996 - 2001 at Altes-Lager outside Jüterbog; then from 2001 storage in Falkenberg (Elster) where it is currently located.

Delivered in 02/1944 to DRB - Deutsche Reichsbahn as No. 52 2675 in Göttingen before commissioning into Rbd Halle, then found itself in what became the GDR following WW2 when it then joined the newly created DR - Deutsche Reichsbahn in the same identity. In 06/1967 it was called into Raw Stendal for reconstruction with a combustion chamber boiler (SKL Magdeburg 35019/1967), mixing preheater type IfS/DR and axle bearing adjusting wedges that then emerged in 07/1967 as No. 52 8191; it being computerised in 1970 as No. 52 8191-0 and ran in this guise until being withdrawn (in reserve) at the end of 1987. Following the DB/DR merger upon German unification in 1991, from 01/1992 it became No. 052 191-4 and in 07/1993 went to the DDMM - German Steam Locomotive and Model Railway Museum, Tuttlingen as No. 52 8191-0.

Locomotive started off life as CB&Q 1175 in 1898. Sold in the 1930s to the Wyoming Railway Co. Use for a brief time before becoming a parts unit. Abandoned from 1952 to 1982 before being donated to Buffalo the same year

The worlds most famous steam locomotive LNER A3 Class Pacific No. 60103 (No. 4472) "Flying Scotsman" has made more history when on March the 8th 2023 as part of International Womens Day the locomotive was crewed by the first ever all-female team at the East Lancashire Railway adding another chapter to the history of the worlds most famous steam locomotive. Also "Flying Scotsman" will be visiting the Strathspey Railway for the very first time to launch their first Steam Gala from the 15th to 17th of September 2023, after that the locomotive will operate at the Strathspey Railway for two further weekends on the 23rd and 24th and the 30th of September to the 1st of October 2023.

The sole surviving ex Caledonian Railway 439 Class 0-4-4T No. 419 is to be repainted into British Railways lined Black livery as No. 55189 for a second time in preservation this year for a limited time only. The repaint into BR livery will only last a year in service as the now No. 55189 is to visit the Strathspey Railway for a photo charter event on the 24th and 25th of April 2023 and also a number of other events during the year.

The repaint of the the Talyllyn Railway’s ex Corris Railway Kerr Stuart & Co built Tattoo Class 0-4-2ST No. 4 "Edward Thomas" into the original Corris Railway Red livery is in fact for a photo charter being held from the 19th to 22nd of March 2023, which will be the last time No. 4 is operational as it is to be withdrawn from service for her 10 year overhaul which will take place in the workshops at the Vale of Rheidol Railway at Aberystwyth in Ceredigion, Wales.

The ex South African Railways NG15 Class 2-8-2 No. 120 "Beddgelert" is said to still be located near Porthmadog in Gwynedd, North Wales still but at a private site where it is under restoration for use on the Welsh Highland Railway.
