The locomotive had a short career in 1945 with the CSD - Ceskoslovenské Státni Dráhy, Czech-Slovakia under Soviet contral before joining thet PKP - Polskie koleje Panstwowe, both as No. 52 2817.

Ty2-953 (52.2817) Krakow, Poland had a short-lived career with the DRB upon delivery and in 1945 went to a succession of PKP depots at Sucha Beskidzka, Bielsko Biala, Rybnik and Racibórz before ending up during the summer of 1967 at Chabówka, where it remains as a runner when repaired, at he Skansen Taboru Kolejowego, 34-720 Chabówka, Lesser Poland
