This locomotive was abandoned for many years, and during that time, parts went missing. When it was recovered and put on display, it was given a coat of paint. She is on display as she was when she was abandoned.

Locomotive started off life as CB&Q 1175 in 1898. Sold in the 1930s to the Wyoming Railway Co. Use for a brief time before becoming a parts unit. Abandoned from 1952 to 1982 before being donated to Buffalo the same year

The "Alco-Pittsburgh Construction Number List" indicates that Construction Numbers 1815 through 1827, were shipped to the "Chicago, Burlington & Quincy" during May and June of 1898 (Unfortunately, on my copy of the list all of the road numbers were cut off). All of the units were 2-6-0's with a "Specified" total weight of 126,000 pounds (This is not necessarily the "Actual" total weight). Cylinders were 19" x 24". Drivers were 64".
