Annie is the second replica of the real Annie in New Zealand. Being built by the Bennett Brook Railway after they acquired the cylinder castings of the first replica built by the Groudle Glen Railway on the Isle of Man. The replica has since been sold to a private owner in Germany where it currently resides.

Originally delivered to the DRG as Kriegslok No. 52 3517 through WW2, being passed to the ÖBB in that guise late in 1945, for whom it worked until 1978 and was immediately preserved by ÖGEG at Linz, later at Amplewang in Hausruckwald, Vöklabruck, 4843 Austria.

Originally delivered to DRG as Kriegslok No. 52 3505, keeping that identity with the SBZ 1945-1948, it was then sequestrated by the USSR for use on the SŽD network as their No. TE-3504, being observed in their ‘reserve’ at Rava Rus’ka, in the Kviv Oblast (Region) of what is now Ukraine in 1994.

Originally delivered to DRG as Kriegslok No. 52 3504 which it retained through the WW2 years before it went, in 1945, to the ÖBB in the same guise. In 1978 it was preserved by enthusiasts at Minett Park, Fond de Gras, Luxembourg although the locomotive is kept at or near the CFL depot, more recently rebuilt, in Luxembourg City itself, as their No. 55.13 ?

Originally delivered to DRG as Kriegslok No. 52 3464, the number it retained during SBZ years 1945-1949 and with the following DR. It was rebuilt as a Rekolok (probably at RAW Stendal) 1958-1962, emerging as No. 52 8015, and survived until 1991, being withdrawn at Bw Elsterwerda. It was then saved by EBG Borchen, outside Paderborn; was in store in Oscherslben during 1993 and at Altenbeken in 1998 before being displayed at Lehrte in 2002, originally at a previous location here!

Originally delivered to the DRG as Kriegslok No. 52 3455, it continued in this identity with the occupying SBZ 1945-1949, and from then with the ‘new’ DR, until it was re-built (probably at RAW Stendal) with a more powerful boiler 1958-1962 and emerged as No. 52 8044. It left service at the end of 1993, being ‘saved’ by B Falz (the German ‘Dai Woodham’ and initially being placed in the sidings at Basdorf before being moved into his collection in the former freight depot of Bw Falkenberg.

Originally delivered to the DRG as Kriegslok No. 52 3420, as it was through the SBZ years and with DR from 1949; it was re-built as a Rekolok (probably in RAW Stendal sometime 1958-1962) to become No. 52 8098, and was finally withdrawn on Christmas Day 1991 at Bw Halle/Salle. Saved by the BEM, Nördlingen in mid 1992, it was here until the year 2000, then moved to the SEH, Heilbronn until 2010, as a previous note by Brian.

Originally delivered to DRG as Kriegslok No. 52 3417, through SBZ 1945-1948, followed by DR for a short time until 1951. It then went to the JŽ as No 15-253, eventually succeeding on to Slovenian Railways (SHS), then latterly stored for several years in Jesenice, before being moved to the large railway museum in Ljubljana.

Originally delivered to DRG as Kriegslok No. 52 3397, and from late 1945 to 1948 with occupying forces SBZ, It was then sequestrated by the USSR to operate as No. TE-3397, and re-gauged from Standard to 1524mm. It was found stored in a ‘reserve’ at Gusev, (Kaliningrad Oblast ?), Russia in 1992. Since then it has been moved to the Lokomotive Park, Haapamäki, Finland.

Originally delivered to the DRG as Kriegslok No. 52 3387, it worked with this identity through to 1948 when it was sequestrated by the USSR, to become SŽD No. TE-3387, and presumably re-gauged to 1524mm. During 1993 it was stored in the Krasnovka ‘reserve’, Kaliningrad Oblast, Russia.

Originally delivered to DRG as Kreigslok No. 52 3385, the identity carried through to 1948 when sequestrated by the USSR, it was then SŽD No. TE-3385 and re-gauged to 1524mm. In 1994 it was in the Rava Rus’ka ‘reserve’ in the Lviv region of Ukraine.

The Beyer Peacock & Co. built works shunter 0-4-0ST Works No. 1827 will make a visit to the Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway for their Beyer Bash Gala from the 20th to 22nd of May 2022, where the locomotive will operate on a short section of specially-laid Standard Gauge Track at Welshpool for the event.

Originally delivered as DRG Kriegslok No. 52 3356, and through to 1948 until being sequestrated to the USSR to become SŽD No. TE-3356, later No. 1042 2376. It was last noted in 1993 at the ‘reserve’ in Bagratinowsk, Kaliningrad.

Originally delivered to DRG as Kriegslok No. 52 3354, it ran in this guise until sequestrated by the USSR in 1945 thus becoming TE-3354, presumably being re-gauged to 1524mm, but was re-patriated to the DDR in 1962 thus joining DR as it’s original number, again ? changing gauge, being re-boilered as Rekolok (probably in Stendal) and numbered as 52 8116, eventually retiring in early 1993, to be quickly preserved by the EFO, Oberberg, based in Dieringhausen, a few months later to be OD eV, Osnabrück No. 52 8116-7 until 2013, as Brian says, it was purchased privately by a Theo Kirkmann (with the name Kirkmann advertising and emboldening it’s tender) in the grounds of his Büromobelfabrik at Kirkmannstraße 1, 33729 Brake bei Bielefeld, just off to the west of the B61, 5 miles (just under 8km) north of the city centre.

Wheel arrangement is 0-4-0T. The pony trucks have been salvaged.

Correct, 76 and 43 no longer have pony trucks, and run so much better without them. They were installed for aesthetics in the 60s.

This was originally delivered to DRG as Kreigslok No. 52 114 and remained o until 1945 when sequestrated by the USSR and moving to the SŽD as No. TE-114 (with a change of gauge to 1524mm). In 1993 it was believed to be in the ‘reserve’ at Zheleznodoroshny, east of Moscow.

This was originally delivered as DRG Kreigslok No. 52 106 until 1945 when sequestrated by the USSR, presumably converting the running gauge to 1524mm and numbering it SŽD TE-106, later 1042 033. It finish up in the named ‘reserve’ in Kaliningrad, to be observed there in 1993.

This locomotive was originally delivered as DRG Kreigslok No. 52 103 and kept this identity until, in 1945, being sequestrated by the then Soviet authorities and moved to part of the USSR as SŽD No. TE-103. By 1994 it was in the ‘reserve’ at Rava Rus’ka, south east across the border of Poland and in the Lviv territory of the Ukraine.

This was originally delivered to DRG as Kreigslok No. 52 100 and remained with that identity until it was sequestrated by the Soviets in 1945 and sent to the new Yugoslavia as BDŽ No. 33.014, later 33-044. It has been in residence at Strasshof since 1991.

This was originally delivered to DRG as Kreigslok No. 52 087 and ran in Germany until being sequestrated by the USSR in late 1945 then to, and as, SŽD No. TE-087, later No. 1042 0099. In 1993 it was at Bagrationowsk and in 2014, according to a previous, contributor ILFORD was at Lishchitsi (East) open air railway museum, Brest, though I don’t see it on their website, only No. TE-074 ?

Delivered to the Degussa Gold & Silver Co. of Frankfürt am Main at it’s premises in Köln-Konrader Höhe, later Werk Köln-Hütte. afterwards at Kalcheuren as No. 1. During 1982 it was placed in a playground in the Burgpark, Hürth-Hermühlheim and, in 1986, in Kreuzstraße, Alt-Hürth before being purchased, in 1991, by HER at Bergisch-Gladbach, then moving to RIM Köln-Nippes in 2004.

The former Eaton Hall Railway 1896 built 15inch gauge 0-4-0T "Katie" will be the second visiting locomotive at the Romney Hythe & Dymchurch Railway for their “95th Anniversary” Steam and Diesel Gala on the 14th and 15th of May 2022.

This locomotive was delivered to the DRG as Kreislok No. 50 2838, through to DB in late 1949 becoming, along with computerisation, No. 52 838-0. It was withdrawn from Bw Crailsheim in 1976 but took several years for it to be preserved, first privately in 1983 at Wilferdingen then, in 1994, by EBM Tuttlingen (minus its computer check-digit!
