Appaently this locomotive was, in 1999 stored at Jetalsar (Junction), North-West India, then exported to the USA in 2000 ? Most railways in Togo, although metre gauge, closed in 1999.

Originally delivered to the then West German DB as their No. 65 018, it was computerised to No. 065 018 some two decades later working until 1972 when it was withdrawn from Bw Aschaffenburg and preserved, in 1975, by DDM at Neuenmarkt-Wirsberg. It was sold from here to the SSN, Rotterdam in 1995.

As ILFORD has stated previously this is actually Krauss-Maffei, München 17816/1953, believed to have been re-built with A Jung boiler No. 11681. It may display a different identity. Could be IR No. 501 ?

This is Weckerwere, Burghausen No. 8 working here until 1972 when it was sold though a intermediary to München & Höchst AG, Gendorf as their No. 1, kept in reserve from 2002. Preserved in 2006 by VFHE, Mühldorf, Stellwerke, Mühldorf

Originally Süd Eisenbahn Gesellschaft No. 101 for around a decade when, in 1958 it became under the same dentistry the property of Mittelbadsche Eisenbahn until 1971 when it was further purchased by EUROVAPOR in Worblaufen, Switzerland. It had new boiler, No. 1498 during 1993 from RAW Meiningen and later went to the IHS, Selfkantalbahn where it was observed running (see album) in 2010.

Originally delivered to the listed company at Petting Works, Peißenbeg, working until 1970. Placed on display in a playground in Maßmannbergl Ecke Schleißheimei Straße, München and in 1984 was prepared for it’s debut at the Bergbahnmuseum.

Originally delivered to Saargruben AG, Kokerie Redem as their No. 37, retiring in 1970. It was purchased by Club 41 096 in 1979, to whom it is still owned ? I.e. -Gemeinschaft 41 096 e.V., Warnestraße 3, 38704 Klein-Mahner, Saarland. www.dg41096.de.

This originally was Saargruben AG, Coking Plant Redem No. 36 which retired in 1970. It was eventually ‘saved’, in 1980 by HE. Frankfurt-am-Main and given the fictional identity of No. 81 1001. It later moved, around 2002, to MECL Losheim.-am-See where it (maybe remnants ?) remains ? the location being:- Museums-Eisenbahn-Club Losheim am See, Streifstr.3 66679 Losheim am See, Saarland, Germany. www.museumsbahn-Losheim.de. Whilst this locomotive does not appear on it’s website (a contemporary No. 34, now named “Losheim”, bought in 1983 from the same original company, but Henschel 29892/1948) does, was No. 36 used for spares ?

Originally delivered to the DRG as Kriegslok No. 52 3574, it was believed stored ? with the occupying SBZ 1945-1949, then taken by DR in the same guise. Re-built 1958-1962, probably at RAW Stendal, with a more powerful boiler it was re-numbered to 52 8168 and ran until late 1961. Purchase by BEM, Nördlingen in 1992.

The former NCB Comrie Colliery Hunslet built Austerity 0-6-0ST No. 19 has been repainted into NCB Black livery and will debut in its new livery at the Bo’ness & Kinneil Railway over the Mothers Day weekend.

The ex Fairfield-Mabey Kerr Stuart & Co 0-4-0WT Works No. 3063 "Willy" is currently located at the Mangapps Farm Railway Museum at Burnham-on-Crouch in Essex. Where it has recently been given a extension to its boiler ticket to work another year there.

The history is mixed up. In 2010 it moved from Aulendorf to Moers - Rheinkamp where it is now with Stiftung Historische Eisenbahn Park Niederrhein.

It is unclear which 52s were made broad gauge. Certainly those in the Baltic States and deeper into Russia would be 1524mm. But those in reserves near the Polish border were mostly standard gauge and all facing west ready for the invasion.

This is a well travelled Kriegslok! Delivered to DRG as No. 52 3554, it went to the newly re-organised ÖBB in late1945 before, in late 1948, being given to the SŽD as their No.TE-3554, it later in Poland as PKP No. Ty2-3554. In 1992 it was saved from the cutter’s torch by TSP-PFT, Belgium and now is their No. 26.101, believed to be based at Schaarbeek depot, Bruxelles, status operational ? The National company, SNCB, originally ran 100 of these locomotives following WW2, but none survived to be preserved!

Originally delivered to the DRG as Kriegslok No. 52 3548, with the succeeding SBZ 1945-1949 and then with DR until withdrawal at Bw Cottbus in 1987.;It rested here until 1989, when ‘saved’ by the BEM at Nördlingen.

Another that was delivered directly to the DRG as Kriegslok No. 52 3539. After belonging to the SBZ for a year! It was sequestrated in 1948 by the USSR for use by it’s SŽD as No. Te-3537 and re-gauged to 1524mm. In mid 1994 it was in the Ukrainian ‘reserve’ of Rava Rus’ka, not far from the Polish border in the Lviv Region.

Originally delivered to the DRG as Kriegslok No. 52 3535, after a short service with the succeeding SBZ it was sequestrated by the USSR for the SŽD in early 1947 as No. TE-3535, at which time it MAY have changed gauge. However, in early 1962 it was acquired by the MÁV, becoming No. 520.030, for work in Hungary and started privatised working from the ‘reserve’ of Agfalva, close to the border with Austria, in 1976 for the Raab-Ödenburg-Evenfurther Eisenbahn (RÖEE) before being set down alongside the main line in Fertöboz, opposite the station.

Originally delivered to the DRG as Kriegslok No. 52 3517 through WW2, being passed to the ÖBB in that guise late in 1945, for whom it worked until 1978 and was immediately preserved by ÖGEG at Linz, later at Amplewang in Hausruckwald, Vöklabruck, 4843 Austria.
