This is a well travelled Kriegslok! Delivered to DRG as No. 52 3554, it went to the newly re-organised ÖBB in late1945 before, in late 1948, being given to the SŽD as their No.TE-3554, it later in Poland as PKP No. Ty2-3554. In 1992 it was saved from the cutter’s torch by TSP-PFT, Belgium and now is their No. 26.101, believed to be based at Schaarbeek depot, Bruxelles, status operational ? The National company, SNCB, originally ran 100 of these locomotives following WW2, but none survived to be preserved!
