Kings Bay Coal Corp 0-4-0T No. 2Posted by: Dale W Fickés on Oct 14, 2022 @ 08:10:56
Could it be that the image here is actually of O&K 13301/1940 delivered to the same company by Hermann Möller, Wilhelmshaven although the 1909 Borsig example is also listed as being here ? Given the era it could be that the Borsig locomotive was destroyed during WW2. If it is the Borsig, then where is the O&K example ?

Vithaldas Haridas Co 0-6-0T No. UnknownPosted by: Dale W Fickés on Oct 13, 2022 @ 08:10:44
Built to a gauge of 600mm, I suspect that Vityaldas Haridas Co. was only the intermediary in the then East Africa. However, this was later plinthed in a childrens playground in Jinja, Uganda on the northern shore of Lake Victoria, giving rise to the possibility that the locomotive may previously have worked for construction companies building one of the two dams spanning the River Nile at this point ? There seems to be some doubt as whether or not this is still plinthed here in the Eastern Region of Uganda, or in nearby Kampala.
