The ex Samuel Fox & Co Hudswell Clarke built 0-6-0T No. 20 "Jennifer" is to visit the Avon Valley Railway for their Mixed Traffic Gala on the 21st of March 2020. But could be staying on loan to them??

It should have said QJ 7040 formerly "Old Smokey" 2008 one of three ex China Rail and Jitong Railway QJ Class 2-10-2’s that were shipped from China for preservation in the United States of America since 2006 and 2007 sorry. But more details have come as the Chinese built 2-10-2 will now be relocating to Kentucky Steam Heritage Corporation base at Ravenna in Kentucky where the locomotive will be put back in to operational condition again.

The GWR 1600 Class 0-6-0PT No. 1638 is to visit the Severn Valley Railway as the 3rd visiting locomotive for their Spring Steam Gala from the 16th to 19th of April 2020.

My grandfather Virgil Uhrich built this engine in 1948. It has remanded in the family since then. We run it on the our 1mile CC&E RR. It will be going to the shop for flue work for the 2020 year. Follow us on FB at the Comanche Crossing & Eastern RR and Thain picnic grove.

There seems to be some discrepancy about the identity of the loco - the number plates show 020-207 which is at odds with the information on the site.

The ex Victorian Railways regauged R Class Hudson 4-6-4 R766 was steamed and moved along standard gauge track for the very first time under her own steam on a short test run today. This marks the completion of the regauging of R766 from broad gauge to standard gauge. The locomotive will undergo more test runs before being let lose on the mainlines of New South Wales very soon.

QJ 7040 formerly "Old Smokey" 2008 one of tree ex China Rail and Jitong Railway QJ Class 2-10-2’s that were shipped from China for preservation in the United States of America since 2006 and 2007 has a bright future ahead. As the locomotive has been donated by its former owners the R.J. Corman Railroad Group to the Kentucky Steam Heritage Corporation. Where the ex China Rail 2-10-2 will become part of Kentucky Rail Heritage Center’s rail museum in Irvine, KY. The locomotive will move to its new home in early April.

The Pioneer Beyer-Garratt, 0-4-0+0-4-0 K1 has been steamed and under went a test run at the Statfold Barn Railway today which this marks the end of the overhaul as the locomotive is now set to enter service and will make her public debut at the Enthusiast Day at Statfold on the 21st March 2020.

Now located home at the NSW Rail Museum at Thirlmere in New South Wales, Australia and currently being repainted. 3801 is to be launched back into service on the mainlines of New South Wales at a special welcome back ceremony at Sydney’s Central Station on Friday 27 March at 11.00am. And after this the locomotive will tour the state working many mainline trips onwards.

The number was 1497.The number plate 1497 was stolen and he makes a new plate after the tender plate,who was 1493.She was built by Henschel 3824-1894.

Former NCB Kinneil Colliery Andrew Barclay built 0-4-0ST No. 47 "Fambridge" has been withdrawn from service for its 10 year overhaul with work being carried out on her boiler following a cracked firebox throatplate.

LNER D49 Class 4-4-0 No. 246 "Morayshire" is returning home to the Bo’ness & Kinneil Railway but unfinished from her overhaul which has staled sadly as the Llangollen Railway who were overhauling the locomotive for the Scottish Railway Preservation Society ran into finance problems. With work on the new Steaming Ahead Project at Bo’ness underway No. 246 will have to go into storage till her overhaul can be restarted or a new contractor comes foreword to complete the overhaul?

North Eastern Railways T2 (LNER Q6) 0-8-0 No. 2238 is to revert back to its British Railways livery with her BR running number 63395 again following her spell in her original North Eastern Railways livery.

52322 will be making a return visit to the Lincolnshire Wolds Railway to help celebrate their 150th anniversary on October 3rd-4th. She will also be taking part in their Bank Holiday Steam Up on 29th-31st August.

6412 will be visiting the East Lancashire Railway for their Spring Steam Gala on 6th-8th March, as a late visiting locomotive. She will only be the second 6400 to visit the ELR, after 6430 in 2015.
