The locomotive in now numbered in its original identity. The build details being correct, though it did enter service for a very short period pre-war as No. Pm36-2. It soon became No. 18 602 with the DRB and, probably as a result of enemy action during the intervening years, was numbered Pm36-1 when returning to the PKP at Bydgoszcz Glówny in May 1947, having earlier been sequestrated by the ZSR and ÖBB. It had a spell at Torun Glówny in 1952, and later in 1959 at Gdynia Grabówek. It was withdrawn from service at Ostrów Wielkopolski in 1970 and taken, via Tarnowsky Góry to the Warsaw Railway Museum, who now own the locomotive, and where it was displayed until 1995 when it went for a major overhaul at ZNTK Pila, after which in the same year it was loaned Wolsztyn. Since that time it was back and forth to ZNTK Gneizno whilst this facility was open, the Leszno from 2008. It was withdrawn from service, again, in 2012 and is now awaiting repairs at PKP Cargo, ul. Fabryczna 1, 64-200 Wolsztyn, Greater Poland.
