Ol49-100 was originally supplied to Klodzko depot in the summer of 1954 and it was twenty years before moving on to Torun Kluczyki. Three years later, in 1987, it went to Zagan and to Chabówka in 1991. It made working appearances at Wolsztyn in 1999 but is currently awaiting repairs at Skansen Taboru Kolejowego, 34-720 Chabówka, Lesser Poland

Ol12-7 (429.195) was originally delivered to the kkStB but between the two world wars and became PKP-A: No. Ol12-43. In 1939 it was seconded into the Commissariat of Railways (NKPS), i.e. Soviet Railways but, from 1942 - 1945 became DRB No. 35 817, as it did with ÖBB 1945 - 1947. For a very short time in April 1947 it again worked for the Soviets, by then renamed Ministry of Railways.Note: SŽD did not come about until 1954! It was displayed in 1973 at the Warszwa Open Air railway museum and had reconstruction work at ZNTK Pila in 1993 and later went operating from Skansen Chabówka but its boiler ticket expired in 1999. It was returned to service in 2008 after major repairs and remains based at the Skansen Taboru Kolejowego, 34-720 Chabówka, Lesser Poland.

The ex South African Railways Beyer Peacock & Co. built NGG16 Class 2-6-2+2-6-2 Garratt No. 130 is in its final stages of restoration at Dinas on the Welsh Highland Railway. The cab fittings are being assembled, and the copper pipework is in the advanced stages and driver’s brake valve, duplex valve as well as one of the “dragon” catches is complete with the other one in the advanced stages. It is hoped that the locomotive will be ready for its hydraulic test that will take place week commencing on the 29th of November 2020.

TKh49-1 (TKh-5695) was delivered directly to Halemba Power Plant, Ruda Slaska, Silesian (probably under its build number of TKh-5695), then moved to Florian steelworks in Swietochlowice at the start of 1983. It was de-comissioned at the end of 1996 and went to Chabówka under PKP auspice (probably under its current No. of TKh49-1) where it is now awaiting repairs at the Skansen Taboru Kolejowego, 34-720 Chabówka, Lesser Poland

Tkt48-167 was first delivered to Sucha Beskidzka and twenty years later was seconded from Przeworsk to handle movements in the repair Department in Rzeszów, It went to Jaslo in 1977 for a decade before being withdrawn at Kraków Plaszów where it remains on display at the PKP Cargo depot. TKt48-191 Krakow, Poland was delivered to Slupsk; serving at Jelenia Góra in 1975 and finally Chabówka in 1992. It is currently under repair in the Skansen Taboru Kolejowego, 34-720 Chabówka, Lesser Poland

Tr12-25 (56.3522) entered service as PKP-A: 2085 and, from 1925, as Tr12-58 but was commissioned into the DRB 1941- 1945. After WWII it ran on the ÖBB returning to the PKP in 1948. It was withdrawn in 1966 at Kraków Plaszów), then had a stop in Przemysl and Miasteczko Slaskie before, in 1973, being displayed at the Railway Museum in Warszaw. It was returned to service in 1993 following major renovation and is now based at Chabowka, again awaiting repairs, at the Skansen Taboru Kolejowego, 34-720 Chabówka, Lesser Poland

Ty2-2118 (52.2118) entered service with the DRB and, in 1945 joined that PKP before being seconded by Soviet Railways as TE-2118 the following year. Following withdrawal in 1963 it was set as a monument for the PMPPW in Kotlarnia, and where it has stood for many years. In 2019 is was transported to nearby Kedzierzyn-Kozle where it has now been put on on display in ul. Traugutt, 47-220 Kedzierzyn-Kozle, Opole

Ty45-2560 was delivered to KWK Sosnowiec from the Fablok factory in Chrzanów. In 1951 it went to PMPPW in Szczakowa, being transferred to Kotlarnia in 1973, and where it was stored outside for several years. In 2017 it was taken for display outside Budokrusz S.A.,Traugutta 48a, 05-825 Grodzisk Mazowiecki, Masovia

Px48-3910 was originally delivered as 750 mm gauge No. Px48-1763 to Krosniewice in early 1953 and served here and in Wloclaw for a decade before it was converted, at ZNTK Nowy Sacz, to Metre gauge and sent to Gryfice, working here and at Insko before being withdrawn in 1990. It was then displayed as a plinth outside the Fablok factory, Chrzanów in 1990 (where built). In 2014 it was taken on a 20-year loan from the Warsaw Railway Museum and displayed outside the locomotive depot of Koszalin Narrow Gauge Railway (TKKW), Lechicka 54g, 75-108 Koszalin, West Pomorania

Pt47-121 was delivered in mid summer to Piotrków Trybunalski and spent some time at major city depots throughout the country before arriving in Kostrzyn during 1972, and was eventually withdrawn from there, and where it still stands at the former depot entrance, in the Autumn of 1987. off Sikorskiego, 66-470 Kostrzyn nad Odra, Western Poland

The overhaul on LNER D49 Class 4-4-0 No. 246 "Morayshire" has now restarted as the boiler is at Locomotive Maintenance Services Ltd at Loughborough in Leicestershire. Where it is having new flue tubes replaced and remedial work is undertaken to the sling stays to get the boiler to the stage of a hydraulic test early next year.

No. 850 "Lord Nelson" is currently in safe storage in the boiler shop at Ropley on the Mid-Hants Railway awaiting her next overhaul which the railway along with the National Railway Museum plans to do soon.

The ex South Australian Railways 1915 built Rx Class 4-6-0 Rx224 was steamed again and moved under her own steam for the first time in 30 years. The locomotive will soon begin testing before entering service with SteamRanger Heritage Railways in 2021.

Ok1-112 (2425) is one of the oldest, now exceeding a century in age, locomotives in Poland, being sent by KPEV from Berlin to Hamburg Altona as Altona 2425. From 1925 it became DRB No. 38 1698. It went to the PKP in 1945 and in February 1950 was at Torun; in 1963 at Gdynia Grabówek; and in 1977 at Malbork where it was withdrawn and sold to the Gypsum Board Factory in Swiecie where it worked as a stationary boiler until 1986. In 1995 it was taken to Tczew, then on to Koscierzyna, where it is now displayed at the Skansen Parowozownia,, ul. Towarowa 7, 81-400, Koscierzyna, Pomerania

Ol49-71was delivered to Stalinogród (now Katowice); travelled as far north as Bialystok in 1966 and reached Koscierzyna in 1992 where it was withdrawn, now being at the Skansen Parowozownia,, ul. Towarowa 7, 81-400, Koscierzyna, Pomerania

Ty42-39 (52.4574) was at Kraków for a year as DRB No. 52 4574 before going on to Opole and then further north to Ilawa. It was retired from service in Koscierzyna in early 1991, where it had been since 1988. It is now at the Skansen Parowozownia,, ul. Towarowa 7, 81-400, Koscierzyna, Pomerania

Ty45-139 Koscierzyna, Pomerania, Poland entered service at the large central depot of Zdunka Wola Karsznice and spent many of its days in the area apart from a brief visit to Gdynia Grabówek in the autumn of 1962.It was withdrawn from Zebrzydowice in 1992 then taken to the Skansen Parowozownia,, ul. Towarowa 7, 81-400, Koscierzyna, Pomerania

TKt48-179 was delivered to Wegliniec and after a decade went north to Szczecin Glowny and eventually Korsze before being withdrawn from there in 1989, although it had last seen service some three years earlier. In 1997 it was taken, and later sectioned for display, at the Skansen Parowozownia,, ul. Towarowa 7, 81-400, Koscierzyna, Pomerania

This loco was orginally supplied to Huta Lenina and joined the fleet of Cukrownia Stare Pole a year later. It then went to Cukrownia Ketrzyn where it worked until being withdrawn in 1990 and was taken to Koscierzyna in late 1194 for display at the Skansen Parowozownia,, ul. Towarowa 7, 81-400, Koscierzyna, Pomerania

Ty42-126 (52.4012) emerged from Chrzanów in 1946 and went to nearby Opole. It spent most of its life in Silesia before travelling north and ending up in Koscierzyna in 1979; withdrawn here in 2000, it remains in the Skansen Parowozownia,, ul. Towarowa 7, 81-400, Koscierzyna, Pomerania

Ty2-178 (52.1162) had a short-lived life initially with DRB before joining the PKP fleet at Bydgoszcz Glowny and Zbaszynek in 1945. It travelled extensively around the country before ending up at Koscierzyna where it is now regarded as a wreck in the Skansen Parowozownia,, ul. Towarowa 7, 81-400, Koscierzyna, Pomerania

Ty2-1401 (52.1481) is another machine that originated from the workshops outside Stuttgart and saw service for a short while until it went to the ÖBB and CFR consecutively bearing the same number in 1945 and 1948 respectively, then Soviet Railways (???) as TE1-1481 in 1951 before finally reaching the PKP at Olsztyn in 1963. It was withdrawn from service in 1990 and then reached Koscierzyna where it is now at the Skansen Parowozownia,, ul. Towarowa 7, 81-400, Koscierzyna, Pomerania

Ty2-1301 (52.7349) became DRB No. 52 7349 but within a year it had became ??? (Ministry of Soviet Railways) as TE-7349 (or more correctly ??-7349). It then joined PKP as Ty2-1301, probably in 1962 at Olsztyn and, from 1984. spent the rest of its days before withdrawal at Malbork. It is currenly stored as a wreck at the Skansen Parowozownia,, ul. Towarowa 7, 81-400, Koscierzyna, Pomerania
