Baldwin 61619, driver diameter is 42 inches, with 17x22 cylinders. Locomotive is not 36 inch gauge, but rather 42 inch. And yes, it was restored to operation in the mid-2010s.

The 2248 is expected to return to service in 2023 according to Grapevine. And it looks like they’re finally making progress (slowly) with the steam locomotive. New boiler and a couple of other new parts such as air tanks. One day soon we’ll see steam in Grapevine again.

The station that 2542 is displayed burned down in May 2021. 2542 is okay but the station is gone. It was a total loss.

The famous ex GWR Castle Class 4-6-0 No. 4079 "Pendennis Castle" will be soon start test runs and running trials behind closed doors this winter at Didcot in readyness for her big lauch into service from April 2022.

A milestone has been reached in the overhaul and rebuild of former Southern Railway rebuilt Bulleid West Country Light Pacific No. 34039 "Boscastle" as the new tender tank has been fitted to the tender frames and the now new tender has been placed on its wheels. The locomotive is now in its final stages of overhaul as work will now turn to the boiler.

The now ex North Bay Railway 2014 North Bay Engineering built 0-4-0ST "Georgina" has now been regauged from 20inch gauge to 21inch gauge and as it has been sold to the Princess Royal Class Locomotive Trust at their base at the Midland Railway - Butterley in Derbyshire where the locomotive is now located. "Georgina" will now operate on their 21ich gauge demonstration line at the Princess Royal Class Locomotive Trust West Shed alongside their two ex Butlins 4-6-2DH (Diesel Hydraulic) locomotives there.

Folloing a successful steam test the boiler of ex South Scotland Electricity Board Andrew Barclay built 0-4-0ST Works No. 2315 "Lady Ingrid" has now been put back onto the mainframes of the locomotive along with its saddle tank and cab. The locomotive will soon be back in service for the 2022 season.

This locomotive, following an overhaul, is now ‘Operational’, probably based in Rimini, and worked some “Chestnut” specials from the latter to Marradi during October 2021 as reported in Today’s Railways-Europe, Issue 310 December 2021.

The ex Southern Railway Rebuilt Bulleid West Country Class Pacific No. 34010 "Sidmouth" has left the Swanage Railway and has relocated to the Private site at Sellindge in Kent, where its restoration will be worked on fully.

The ownership of the ex GWR Large Prairie 2-6-2T No. 5164 has now been transferred to the Erlestoke Manor Fund following a deal reached with the locomotive’s previous owners the 5164 Preservation Group. No. 5164’s long term future at the Severn Valley Railway is now secured and will now soon be in line for a overhaul. No. 5164 has been on display at Barrow Hill Roundhouse following the end of its boiler ticket in 2014.

The owners of ex GWR Large Prairie 2-6-2T No. 5199 have agreed to extend the loan of the locomotive to the West Somerset Railway for the 2022 season. Which 5199 will remain at the railway until the 31st of December 2022. No. 5199 will operate for a minimum number of 50 steaming days in this period there.

This locomotive stands where it is as a memorial to 3 revolutionaries whom were roasted to death in its firebox in 1920.

Following its duties with the WD, the locomotive was purchased by the then Manchester Collieries in 1946, working at pits in Walkden and Leigh, Lancashire. It gained it’s name from a late superintendent of the Manchester Collieries company prior to nationalisation as the NCB, also not recognised on the principal page of this file.

This locomotive, though ordered (and numbered) by the British War Department ran, upon delivery in 1945 for the NS as their No. 4464 before being sold to the SJ as No. 1931. The NS number is not currently indicated or recognised on the principal ‘title’ page.

With the construction and testing now all completed the new build West of Fife Munitions Railway North Bay Engineering built 0-4-0ST "Big Dave" has now relocated to its new home at the Lathalmond Railway Museum at Lathalmond in Fife, Scotland. Where it will operate on the West of Fife Munitions narrow gauge Railway there.

The overhaul to return former Taff Vale Railway 0-6-2T No. 28 to steam again is now underway at the Gwili Railway with to remove the boiler for work to be carried out is underway.

The engine was actually moved to Hooper, Nebraska in I think 2011, in October 21 it was acquired by the Sioux City Railroad Museum in Sioux City, Iowa. The museum may have plans too cosmetically restore the engine, and eventually restore to operation someday.

The ex Port Talbot Railway Hudswell Clarke built 0-6-0ST No. 813 is visiting the Telford Steam Railway to be extra motive power for their Polar Express Train Ride over the Christmas season there.

After 14 years ex GWR 5600 Class 0-6-2T No. 5619 has returned home to the Telford Steam Railway for the festive season to work their Polar Express Train Ride over and into Christmas.
