Originally Ferrovia dello Statto (Italian State Railways) No. 5803, later No. 64003 followed by FS No. 640 003, to now be found in the historic stock shed, Pistoia.

This locomotive, following an overhaul, is now ‘Operational’, probably based in Rimini, and worked some “Chestnut” specials from the latter to Marradi during October 2021 as reported in Today’s Railways-Europe, Issue 310 December 2021.
