Originally delivered to the Sul e Sueste Railway, (SeS) Portugal as No. 101, in 1931 becoming No. 1701 through to 1947, when absorbed by the CfP who, in 1952, re-numbered it to 701. It has been rusting away with several others in the yard, adjacent to Vila Nova de Gaia Station, now used by the Permanent Way Department, for several decades. Status is either a ‘Wreck’ or possibly ‘stored for preservation’

Originally delivered to KPEV as Breslau (now Wroclaw) No. 1008, that became DRG No. 17 008 1925-1935 when was then withdrawn and placed in store for preservation in Berlin, arriving at it’s current location in 1984.

Originally delivered to the KPEV as Frankfurt/Main No. 2421, receiving a new boiler from Humboldt No. 1521 in 1921. It was numbered 38 1182 with the DRG 1925-1937; with the original DRB 1937-1945 and the SBZ Military Administration 1945-1949. In that latter year it joined the emerging DR in that identity, latterly No. 38 1182-5 and was made a Tradionslok at Dresden in 1982. Subsequently belonging to DB, it has a EDP of No. 088 385-0.

Originally DSB No. 857 and, from 1957 OHJ No. “D 857”. In 1978 it went to the KLK, Bromgard Railway Museum where it was in store during 1996

As Brian reflects, this is actually build number 4350 NOT 4330! It was originally supplied to the SFSS, Sardinia that only became the FCS in 1921 and, in 1989, the succeeding FdS. It is, as Brian says, dumped at San Gottardo depot, 09042 Monserrato, Sardinia, Italy.

Actually delivered to the SFSS (Sardinia) as No. 200, that only became the FCS from 1921. It was preserved privately at Roma-Bufalotta in it’s latter identity, being stored in 1975.

Originally delivered to KPEV as Stettin No. 8104 that became, in 1925-1937 the new DRG No. 94 429 which, in that later year in the same identity became the new DRB, in 1945 under the SBZ Military Administration, then in 1949 being owned by the newly created DR until withdrawal in 1966. It then went to the VM, Dresden via the store in Meuselwitz but in 1988 went to the HEV until at least 2007.

Original delivered to Ferrovia delle Stato No. 5821, later No. 64021; some-time later as FS No. 640.021 (620.21 is questionable!). Displayed at the North portal of the Mt Cenis Tunnel outside Modane, France.

Originally delivered to KPEV Danzig No. 443, later No.1908. It became, with the emergence of DRG 1924-1937 No. 36 020, thereafter 1937-1943 with the original DRB, later a snow plough though the SBZ Military Administration and, in 1949, the following DR until being withdrawn in 1990. The frame went to the BVB, Braunschweig, apparently in 1992.

I would concur that this is Meiningen 03184/1987 that originally was delivered as VEB Vereinigte Zellstoffwerke Pirna, Werke Coswig No. 4. It was later disposed of to Recycling Coswig GmbH where it was, at least 1999-2004.

Henschel 22501/35 was a 0-8-0T, built for the Kassel-Naumburg Eisenbahn as No.7, withdrawn in 1960, scrapped in 1963. 18-201 was rebuilt at Meiningen, construction number 89 in 1961 from 61-002, a 4-6-4T, Henschel 23515 in 1938. The tender came from H45-024 (Loco scrapped in 1965). The second tender was added at a later date. 18-201 is now at Nossen depot, being overhauled.

Due to the unfortunate damage suffered to 4500 class 4555 at the South Devon Railway on 3rd May, L92/5786 will be staying on at the East Somerset Railway until 4555 is repaired.

The correct location for 03111/1987 is probably now Hauptstraße 54, 29499 Zernien, Germany ?

The only extant 0-6-0F that was delivered here was Meiningen 03187/1987 featured elsewhere on the site as having later gone to Lenzing, Austria in 1995. The only ‘unaccounted’ member of this class, that had anything to do with Bitterfeld, appears to be 03111/1986 which was originally delivered to VEB Braunkohlenwerk, Bitterfeld, Brikettfabrik Holzweißig as “F 175-50-B3” and later as MIBR AG. Later in the 1980s it went to G Sobottka, Brickettfabrik Völpke in the same identity until 1994, until it returned to MIBR AG, on this occasion at Deuben as No. “F 03-111”, and where it was at least until 2002. In 2007 it was purchased privately by Fred Thurm, Karvitz, later at the Ostheide Elbe Bahn, Zernin-Karvitzin it’s last identity.

This is one of six entries under the headings ‘Unknown 0-6-0F No. Unknown’ at ‘Koepenicker Chausee Powerplnt’ which is/are singularly Meiningen 03131/1986 that was originally delivered to VEB Riesaser Ölwerke, Riesa, subsequently going in the 1990s to Bew AG, Kraftwerk Klingenberg, Berlin-Lichtenberg. After a re-visit to Meiningen 1998-2002, in 2004 it returned to Kraftwerk for display.

This engine was Mr. Links and ran at Harbor Branch Foundation north of Ft.Pierce Fla.I do not know the history before that.
