Originally supplied to VEB Energy at Dresden-Mitte as their No. 2 that, in 2004, went to ITL Logistics Dresden-Friedrichstadt andromeda here, in 2006, to Dresden-Altstadt where it was in 2007.

Originally delivered to VEB Kombinat Kali AB, Sonderhausen, Bleicherode as “KATRIN 4” that later became Kalibergwerk “Südharz. In 1993 it was ceded to the EFO, Dieringhausen where it still was in 2013.

Apparently it first worked at the Küchwald location; then Südsachsen EVS at BT Plauen until 1999. It later went to the SEM, Chemnitz-Hilbersdorf where it was in 2003.

Originally delivered to PD, Schönborn-Dreiwerden as No. 3, and working there until 1993. In 1996 it went to the SEM, Chemnitz-Hilbersdorf, and in 2003 to the Industrial Museum, Chemnitz where it was inn 2012.

This was the last, of around 200 fireless locomotives built by Meiningen, 1983-1988,, this one being first delivered to Usti-nad-Laben then Czechoslovakia as No. 998 202. The actual build number is 03201/1988. In 1999 it became SETZUMA No. 998 201-8, not to be confused with it’s first identity or it’s build number.

This was originally VEB Chemiekombinat Bitterfeld No.9 (there is no record of it being number 3) which became, during the 1990s Regiobahn Bitterfeld GmbH RBB “9”, stored in 1998 and at this location still in 2004.

This was originally VEB Chemmiekombinat Bitterfeld (with no recorded identity); that in the 1990s became Regiobahn Bitterfeld GmbH RBB No.1 and was here at least 1998-2004.

The former Ingeno San Martin del Tabarcal, Argentina Orenstein & Koppel built 0-10-0T No. T 907 Works No. 10956 is now located at Workshop X at Killamarsh in Derbyshire where it is now under restoration for a return to steam.

The former Associated Portland Cement Manufacturers Andrew Barclay built 0-4-0ST Works No. 2015 "Tom Parry" is now located at the Railway Retreats site at Northiam in Kent where it is on display there.

I believe this to be build number 03057/1985 that was originally delivered to VEB Kraftwerk Lübbenau-Vetschau as No. “F 172-50-B3”, later No. 17. From 1992 it has been displayed in Recreation Area ‘Phönix”, Beckum and was there in 2011. I have no idea where the title ‘AB MIBRAG or DS’ comes from ?

This is actually build number 03120/1986 that was originally delivered to VEB Braunkohlenwerk Geisenthal as “DS 178-50-B2”, being moved in 1992 to Braunkohlenwerk Röblingen in the same identity, only working until the following year. It later went to Romonta GmbH where it was/is 1997-2007.

This was originally VEB Braunkohlenwerk ‘Gustav Sobottka’, Röblingen at Lager Etzdorf, later at Mitteldeutsche Braunkohlen AG as No. F 67-30-B3 (slightly different to that given here) which was stored in 1993. It then went to Ramonta GmbH, Alsdorf as “F67” and was out of use 1997-2001 but from 2002 to at least 2008 was noted at MaLoWa, Röbel.

On further reflection (Industrial followers will know better than I) that this is actually Meiningen 03001/1983 which was the prototype of around 200 fireless locomotives built at this, then, East German manufacturer 1983-1987, being delivered in early 1984 to VEB Schwermaschinenbau Lauchhammer, BT TAKRAF, Leipzig as their No. “FLC 1”. In June 1992 it moved to Ridel de Haven, Seelze and worked until late 1993. It was then purchased privately in nearby Hannover as “RIEDEL””, being at the Deutschen Werkbahnmuseum, being stored in 2006 at Hannover Haven. In 2007 it was plinthed at Jugendbahnhof Hollenbek, 23883 Hollenbek where it still was in 2012.

As of March 2020, the RJC was donated to the Kentucky Steam group located in Ravenna, KY. Unclear if it will be restored to operation after 2716.

Originally DRG No. 80 030 1929-1937, then the original DRB before being taken into SBZ Military Administration 1945-1949. It then was employed by the succeeding DB until withdrawal in 1961 at Scweinfurt. It then went on display at the Klöckner scrapyard on Königsborn, Bönen-Altenbögge, first as No.4, later No. 9. Later by a new company as No. D-724. It moved to scrapyard Robert Heinrich, Hamm in 1972 until being purchased by the DGEG in 1974 for BochumDahlhausen, and where it was in 2006. Former No. 80 036 is not extant in Germany.

The locomotive finished working in 2000, after which it was ceded to Eisenbahfreunde Torgau and plinthed at Blockheizcraftwerk Stadtwerke, Eilenburg, where it still was in 2007.

This was originally VEB Sugarfabrik Walschleben, later Kombinat Erfurt, Werk Straußfurt which became Südzucker AG, and where it was in store during 1993. In 1994 it went to the EFO at Dieringhausen.

Originally VEB Chemiekombinat Bitterfeld, BT Wolfen No. 13, later RBB 13. In 1997 it went via Stadt Düsseldorf to Akzo-Nobel at Heinsberg-Oberbruch as their No. 2 where it worked until 2007 and, in 2009 went to DLM, Winterthur, Switzerland for renovation.

Originally this was VEB Filmfabrik Wolfen, Sachsen-Anholt, Germany No. 1 which, only in 1995 went to Lenzing, Upper Austria and, as “WOLFEN” was in reserve during 2002.
