Originally supplied through V & W to the Mosbach-Mudau Railway as their No. 3 which, in 1931, became DRG No. 99 7203 which continued in the same identity from 1948 with DB until being withdrawn in November 1964 when it then went to the Albtalbahn on display, later in Gasanstalt, Karlruhe until 1977/78 when it re-appeared at the DGEG Museum, Viernheim. In 1986 it made its way the the UEF at Amstetten, Ulm.

The locomotive was delivered to the FCCN (N = Norte) in January 1906.

I have this as originally Chilean State Railway No. 350 of 1000mm gauge, then No. 3045. It was stored in 0valle in 1966. From 1988 placed on display in the railway museum of Santiago, being still there in 2009.

Originally obtained through intermediary V & W (see previous note) for the Z-O Eisenbahn as their No. 2; only later becoming DEGB No. 30. It has belonged to EUROVAPOR, Kandern since 1969. In 1957 it had new Borsig boiler No. 5328 and, in 1995 Raw Meiningen No. 1468, and probably out-stationed for operational duties.

Borsig 5548/1905 is not recorded as being extant! However this could well be Borsig 5382/1904 which I have recorded as being No. B 3504, formerly No. 45 of FCA del Norte, Argentina, that was stored at Cruz del Eje in 1998.

Soc. Metalurgica Duro Felguera was only the intermediary agent on behalf of Minas de Santa Anna, la Felguera, the actual first owner. Other details appear to be correct.

Previously precured by Naamlooze Vennootschap of Dutch East Indies Co., Rotterdam for PG Tersana Baru, Java as their "NT 12". and only later became/acquired by the Madukismo Sugar Mill and was, in 1993, being used for tourist trains on the plantation.

Originally supplied from Central Administration for secondary railways through Hermann Bachstein for the Friedeberg-Alt Libbehne Railway as their No. 5, sometime later becoming No. 576 for the Central Admin. It is later recorded as working for S & R, at Düsseldorf-Reisholz as No. 4 but in 1972 was found to be displayed at Bf Kerkerbach, being moved in 1980 for display Merenberg-Allendorf, being placed in store here in 1997. In early 2000 it went on display on the Kerkerbachbahnausstellung, Mengerskirchen and in October of that year, at Heckholzhausen, and where it was in 2004.

Previously supplied, via AGBB, to the Amstetten-Laichingen Railway (ALB) as "NELLINGEN 2" and where it was until 1961. In 1962 it went to the Freilichtmuseum Tiefenhöhle, Laichingen as No. 2 and, in 1981, also in that identity, where it remained until 2001/02, to Museum Reichert, Marxzell bei Karlsruhe. In that latter year it moved to UEF Amstetten.

This was originally ordered through intermediary Vering & Wächter, Berlin on behalf of Kleinbahn Voldagsen-Duingen (KVD) as their No. 1. In 1923 it became DEBG No. 28; from 1941 Krozingen-Münstertal-Sulzburg (KMS) No. 28; from 1946 Vorwohle-Emmerthaler-Eisenbahn (VEE) No. 28, reverting to KMS No. 28 in 1947 and, in 1948 became Achtern-Ottenhöfen (AO) No. 28. During 1961 it received another boiler, No. 1413/1896 and in 1963 joined the SWEG in its latter identity. In 1976 it went to the DGEG and acquired the name "BADENIA 28" before going to the Achertäler Eisenbahn Society (AEV), where it was in 2003.

For the first time ever the ex London, Brighton & South Coast Railway Terrier 0-6-0T No. 70 "Poplar" (No. 32670 "Bodiam") is visiting the Docklands Light Railway in London, the first steam locomotive to ever do so. No. 70 will be on display for public viewing at their Poplar Depot in the shadow of Canary Wharf over the weekend of the 18th and 19th of June 2022.

Delivered to the DRB as No. 52 6223, it ran for both that company and the adjoining CSD until late 1945 before being sequestrated by the Soviets as SZD No. TE-6223, later becoming their No. 1042 4570, ending up at the Reserve in Kaliningrad by1992.

Originally delivered to the DRB as No. 52 6356 during the closing months of WW2 which was stored by the SBZ 1945-1949, then served with the emerging DR in its original identity until until being withdrawn at the end of 1975; then used as a stationary boiler in both Berlin Blankenberg and, 1993-1996, at Buchholz. During that latter year it went to the B Falz museum sidings at Altes-Lager outside Jüterbog; from there to his museum at the former freight deoot, Falkenberg.

Delivered to the DRB as No. 52 6423 in the months prior to the end of WW2 and in late 1945 sequestrated by the Soviets for the SZD as No. TE-6423, ending up in a Reserve by 1996 outside Brest, Belarus.

Delivered to the DRB as No. 52 6432 in the months prior to the end of WW2 and in late 1945 sequestrated by the Soviets for the SZD as No. TE-6432, possibly working for the CSD ending up in a Reserve by 1996 outside Brest, Belarus. However, there is a record of it working for the OeBB in 1948.

Delivered to the DRB as No. 52 547 and served in that guise until late 1945 then taken into SBZ Military Admin until 1949 when it re-appeared into the new East German DR in its original guise but was re-boilered as a Rekolok in 1965 at Raw Stendal, emerging as No. 52 8148 and, upon computerisation in 1970, became No. 52 8148-0. It worked until being withdrawn in 1993 from the succeeding DB at Cottbus and was acquired via the DGEG in 1995, for the Damfbahn RWI Society in Düren and, in 2007, went into the wagonhall of Bw Mönchengladbach.

Delivered to the DRB as No. 52 563 shortly before the end of WW2, it was placed in store in late 1945 by the SBZ Military Administration until 1949 when it began running for the emerging East German DR in the same identity until 1961 when it was re-built as a Rekolok, possibly at Falkenberg and emerging that summer as No. 52 8028. In 1970 it was computerised as 52 8028-4 and it was withdrawn from the succeeding DR/DB service in 1991 at Bw Röblingen and a couple oy years later found its way, firstly to Tübingen then to Oebisfelde; later in 2008 to Bw Belzig.

This was actually, I understand, BMAG 13142/1944 that was delivered to DRB as No. 52 575 in 1944 and served for only a few months prior to being sequestrated by the Soviets as No. TE-575 for use in their then territory, finishing up in a Reserve outside Brest, Belarus in 1996.

This indeed is a 1912 replica of the 1844 original, Fabrik No. Borsig 42. No construction number is listed for this replica.

T251 returned to operation on The Bellarine Railway in April 2022 after a six year overhaul which involved major boiler work, reboring of piston valves and cylinders, overhauls of brakes and all running gear, etc. The T is back hauling The Blues Train and Heritage Services.
