A planned transfer to Reckahn (Brandenburg) as a monument on company premises failed. In July 2011 the locomotive was parked in Bad Belzig until it was scrapped there in October of the same year because no one was interested in the locomotive.

Delivered to the DRB as No. 52 563 shortly before the end of WW2, it was placed in store in late 1945 by the SBZ Military Administration until 1949 when it began running for the emerging East German DR in the same identity until 1961 when it was re-built as a Rekolok, possibly at Falkenberg and emerging that summer as No. 52 8028. In 1970 it was computerised as 52 8028-4 and it was withdrawn from the succeeding DR/DB service in 1991 at Bw Röblingen and a couple oy years later found its way, firstly to Tübingen then to Oebisfelde; later in 2008 to Bw Belzig.
