Gurktalbahn 0-4-0T No. 1Posted by: Dale W Fickés on Mar 11, 2022 @ 05:03:16
Apparently around 1936, this engine received the stock boiler of WLF, Floridsdorf No. 3092. However the original locomotive was built as a 0-6-0T by Krauss (Linz) as 1387/1927. My previous historical notes are still pertinent for the same.

Could this be Krauss (Linz) 1342/1926 which I have as 760mm gauge, previously to Papierfabrik Steyrermühl AG and, in 1965, to Steirische Gußstahlwerke, Judenburg as “HANNI”, later at Technologisches Gewerbemusem, Wien - this being quite close to Trumau, south-east of Wien in the suburb of Teesdorf on the B171. If it is I have no record of HRB or the number 418 associated with this locomotive ?
