PKP 0-8-0 No. Px48-1752Posted by: Doug Bailey on Oct 29, 2023 @ 09:10:14
I was quite surprised when I attempted to fix the problem that Dale reported. I issued a command to the database to replace the offending letter with the appropriate one, and the database server reported success. It did, however, not actually make the change. I think that it is a character set issue and may be fixable but I will have to do some research. I did want to thank you for making me aware of this.

The overhaul on former British Sugar Corporation Hudswell Clarke built 0-6-0T Works No. 1800 "Thomas" (the first official real live Thomas the Tank Engine locomotive named the Rev. W. Awdry himself) has now been completed, with just a few jobs left such as final fitting of pipework, air pump and brick arch to finish off, before testing can get underway. If all goes well "Thomas" could be steaming at the Nene Valley Railway over the Christmas season this winter.
