I believe one of them was the first engine Glover ever produced. The pump’s condition has now deteriorated to the extent it now requires replacement. A new replacement complete Westinghouse pump of the correct type in good condition, together with a substantial amount of spare parts, has been found in the United States of America, and the Scottish Railway Preservation Society are appealling to raise £6,000 to help cover the purchase and related shipping costs to bring it to the UK. Details for this appeal can be found on the Scottish Railway Preservation Society’s Steam Website and on their social media pages along with the Bo’ness & Kinneil Railway’s social media pages too.
