The ex Somerset & Dorset Joint Railway 7F Class 2-8-0 No. 53808 will be overhauled as the Somerset & Dorset Railway Trust are begining talks with the Mid-Hants Railway (Watercress Line) on overhauling the locomotive, as the work needed will see No. 53808 have all its wheels need new tyres fitted and a new tender tank along with work on the boiler and frames of the locomotive.

British Sugar Corporation 0-6-0T No. 'Thomas'

The ex British Sugar Corporation Hudswell Clarke built 0-6-0T Works No. 1800 "Thomas" (the first official real live Thomas the Tank Engine locomotive named by the Rev. W. Awdry himself) is now back operational at the Nene Valley Railway again and should be in steam over the Christmas season during their Santa Express Trains and other Christmas events on into the New Year too.

The ex GWR ‘Small Prairie’ 2-6-2T No. 5526 is visiting the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway as extra motive power for their Santa Specials over the Christmas season.

The ex Central Electricity Generating Board Robert Stephenson & Hawthorn built 0-4-0ST (Works No. 7063) No. 15 "Eustace Forth" has now left Peak Rail and has relocated to the Midland Railway - Butterley in Derbyshire which is its new permanent base, and will enter service at its new home on their Santa Specials this Christmas season.

Mount Washington Railway Locomotive #6 has not been operational for over 10 years. Until recently, it was stored without its tender outside the old shop building. With the recent construction of a new shop facility, it has now been moved back into the old shop building, but there are no near-term plans for it. Only Locomotives #2 and 9 are maintained in operational condition.

In 1954 she was transferred to the South Ural Railway (worked at the Nyazepetrovskaya depot, Shadrinsk). Production site: Bryansk Locomotive Plant “Red Profintern” [USSR] Bezhitsa Year of construction: 1932 Delivered to the Moscow-Sortirovochnaya depot. Moved to the Inza depot in 1936. Moved to the Gorky depot in 1939. During World War II as part of ORKP-109. Mid 40s. transferred to the northern railway. Decommissioned in 1988 at the Vorkuta depot, erected in 1989 on the site of the old Nyandoma railway station to commemorate the labor and military achievements of the Nyandoma railway workers during the war.

Delivered to Privolzhskaya railway. 1940 - Omsk Depot of the Omsk Railway. In the 1950s, the steam condensation equipment was dismantled and assigned the number ??m17-508. Until November 1994 it was located at the Barabinsk depot of the West Siberian Railway. Before being transported to the museum, the smoke separators, fuel oil tank and main tanks were removed.
