It has been announced by the Thompson B1 Locomotive Trust, owners of ex LNER B1 Class 4-6-0 No. 1264 that the locomotive will leaving the North Yorkshire Moors Railway where it has been based for the last 10 years and relocating to its new home at the Nottingham Heritage Railway at Ruddington in Nottinghamshire. No. 1264 last ran at the North Yorkshire Moors Railway in 2019 but was withdrawn from service following discovery of cracks in the firebox. When No. 1264 arrives at the Nottingham Heritage Railway it will undergo its overhaul and rebuild there which will see the possible fitment of a new inner firebox, other will include attention to its axleboxes, hornguides, the fitment of a new tender tank and new tyres. The good new is Thompson B1 Locomotive Trust aims to keep No. 1264 mainline registered to run on Network Rail as the Nottingham Heritage Railway is due to be mainline connected again in the near future.

No. 390 has been moved to the National Railway Museum in York. It has gone on display in the Great Hall as part of a reshuffle of exhibits.

Delivered direct to the DB in the Ruhr area as No. 23 058 it worked in that guise until (officially) on 1st January 1968 being re-numbered as 023 058-1 and only worked until decommissioning in 1975. In 1977;it was purchased in that Autumn for EUROVAPOUR, Zurich, Switzerland though it then spent the next eighteen months being re-built in Bw Crailsheim. In 2017 it was re-constructed to Oil firing and is again operational.

A steam locomotive that saw very little oservice, being only delivered to the DB in March 1957. It was re-numbered on 1st January 1968 as 010 001-6, officially withdrawn from service just six months later and purchased, privately, in 0ctober 1976 by Günter Knauß of Kulmbach for the DDM at Neuenmarkt-Wirsberg.

The smokebox door is displayed at Meiningen and the frame may still exist. The loco was used at Meiningen works as a parts donor for 50 3666 and the frame was reported to be there still in 2015,

The locomotive has been at EHEH, Erkrath-Hochdahl (Not Krupp 3067 that was posted by mistake) since 2004 and was stored in 2022. It will now be added (correctly) to the Link!

This is probably a second Krauss/Essen fireless locomotive built around the same time as No. 1 (1953) for Dr. A. Wacker, Burghausen as his No. 2. Whether still extant is unknown. Members ofvthe IRS would probably know better ?

This is probably Krauss/Essen 2830/1953 that was delivered to Dr. A. Wacker, Burghausen as his No. 1 that in 2001 was displayed at the Wacker-Chemical Factory, Burghausen bei Salzach.

This was previously Brown Coal Group, Schallmauer with no known identity, that in 1954 became B&B, Köln No. 412 and only in 1963 to Union-Kraftstoff, Wesseling as No. UK 2 and where it worked until 1970. In 1987 it went to the KBEF in that same identity.

Previously TW GmbH, Schlebusch No. 4 that worked until 1981. It was saved from the torch in 1982 by EF Oberberg at Dieringhausen as THEO 4 and where it was in 2009.

Formerly Kali-Chemie Schnde nr. Hannover No. 3, later werk Nienburg. In 1974 it went to the V & ME, Hamburg and then, only in 1990, to the HEF as No. 1 where it was in 1999.

This is post-war Neiderrheim Mine, N-BAG IV, later plinthed on the Wanne-Herner Eisenbahn and in 2001 was purchased privately for the DF in Salzwedel.

This is Krupp/Essen 2800/1942 that was delivered to the DRB as No. 44 1378 which, post-war succeeded in 1949 into the fledgling DR in the same identity, later becoming coal fired No. O44 O378-7 then back to its original identity before being withdrawn in Summer 1991. It was first preserved in 1992 privately in Celle, and again the following year by the ETB Staßfurt until Spring 1999. Later that year it went to the SEH, Heilbronn who now own the locomotive.

Delivered initially to the then DRB during WW2 as No. 44 1377. it succeeded into the fledgling DB in 1949 with the same identity, renumbering this coal-fired example as No. 044 377-0 and working until 1977, being withdrawn at Bw Gelsenkirchen-Bismarck, though being retained for a further year as a stationary boiler. In 1979 it was first preserved in Hagen, then Aw Schwerte but in October 1991 it went to the DGEG in Bochum.

Delivered initially to the then DRB during WW2 as No. 44 1318. it succeeded into the fledgling DR in 1949 with the same identity and working until 1982, though spending another decade as a stationary boiler. With the succession of DB in 1992 it went to the Werrabahn, Eisenach and then, in 1996, to the SEM in Chemnitz. At some time rebuilt to oil firing as No. 44 0338-2.

Delivered initially to the then DRB during WW2 as No. 44 1315. it succeeded into the fledgling DB in 1949 with the same identity and later becoming No. 043 315-1 (Oil fired) working as a stationary boiler from 1973 until being withdrawn in 1977 at Bw Emden. Later that year it was displayed af Bf Kornwestheim, outside Stuttgart andvlater, for several years, stored in Bw Kornwestheim. In 2005 it went, on loan for a decade, to the SEH, Heilbronn.

Delivered initially to the then DRB during the early part of WW2 as No. 44 1203. it succeeded into the fledgling DB in 1949 with the same identity and later becoming No. 043 196-5, working as a stationary boiler from 1973 until being withdrawn in 1977 at Bw Rheine. From 1978 it has been plinthed outside Bf Salzbergen, just north of Rheine on the Emden line.
