Originally delivered to the then DRB during the opening days of WW2 as No. 41 303, it succeeded in the same identity during 1949 into the emerging DR to later become No. 41 1303-1, working until 1987 when it then served as a stationary boiler in both Magdeburg and Berlin-schoneweide. It went to Röbel in 1993 but was stored at Lübbenau in 2016.

Basalt AG of Linz/Rhein was the intermediary who first supplied the locomotive to the Talbahn before it returned to that company in Willsheiderberg until around 1960. It was displayed at the first named location in 1968 until the summer of 1981 when it went on display at the RSVG, Hennef-Stoßdorf and where it was in 2007.

After work for Carl Halbach the locomotive went to the Grit and Granite Works, Bernbruchuntilb1976 and from here to the Pioneer Railway at the Park Railway in Gera until 1992, after which time it went to Bad Muskau.

Robin R Beck reports that the history of the loco shows it was supplied to the Tsurumi Rinko Railway number 301, passing to the Ministry of Railways as number 1190, finally Mitsui Wharf 3.

Somewhat complicated origins! Julius Berger, Berlin-Tiefbau was merely a intermediary for Wayes & Freytag, Baustelle Ludwigsfelde nr Teltow. Post WW2 it went to CIS, St Pierre-de-Nemours and in 1968 privately to Dr J A Hummel, Moncourt. Later it went to the VdeO as Margerete and from 1980 to at least 1996, when stored, was at Tacot des Sablières de Bourron. France.

Initially delivered to the out-going DRG that soon became the DRB as No. 64 415 that, in 1949 was the same identity in the emerging DB (never DR). It later became No. 064 415-3 and retired from service at the closong of 1974 at Bw Weiden and purchased the following year by Eisenbahn Kurier, Freiburg before, in 1976, going to Stoomtrain VSM in Dieren, Gelderland, Netherlands as No. 5,

Previously Gew. Sophia-Jakoba, Hückelhoven VII until March 1965, when placed on a playground in Hückelhoven-Ratheim. It only went to the FWM as No. 3 in Oekoven, 41569 Rommerskirchen, N-W, Germany in August y1981.

Glaser & Pflaum, Berlin were only the intermediary dealer that supplied Brothers Neumann, Norden initially with this locomotive, with no recorded identity. Only in 1983 did it go to the DDM as No. 5. and where it still was in 2012.

Formerly Bergwerke, Berlin prior to going to Julias Berger, Tiefbau, Berlin. It later went to A Guery of Carrières de Breuilpont, Eure, France and where it was post WW2. In 1950 it was at Sables de Nemours, St Pierre-les-Nemours as No. 6 and in 1968 to Dr J A Hummel of Moncourt but in 1987 it went back to Mr A Guery at Breuilpont, Eure, France.

The locomotive finished work in 1995 in Jatiberang, Java and was brought to the UK around January 2006.

Originally DRG, later DRB No. 64 167 that post WW2 in 1945 went to the CSD as No. 365 406 and worked until 1960. It was later preserved privately at Ošcadnica, Žilina Region in the northwestern part of Slovakia.

Originally DRG, followed by the DRB as No. 80 023 pre WW2 that, in 1949 actually succeeded into the East German DR (never ran for DB) that, in 1966 became a werklok at Raw DD-Friedrichstadt, later Bw Halle P. During 1981 it became a DR Traditionslok, based at Bw DD-Altstadt before going to Hilbersdorf.

Please change status to operational. The locomotive is not due for its next big overhaul until 2023. It is scheduled to run on August 13, 2022, and two more times in November (on the 5th and 6th). The 425 last ran on July 9, 2022, and had some work done on it during the first half of the year.

The Valley Railroad Company is currently in a lawsuit with the city of Hattiesburg over legal ownership of the engine. The city sued because they think it was sold out from under them.

Even though it was first thought that ex United States Army Transportaion Corps and Southern Railway USA Class 0-6-0T Dock shunter No. 30064 has been moved to Carnforth in Lancashire, it has been confirmed that the locomotive is indeed now located at Carnforth and under restoration at West Coast Railway Company’s Depot there.

BR Standard 5MT 4-6-0 No. 73156 will visit the North Yorkshire Moors Railway for the first time as part of their Annual Steam Gala from the 22nd to 25th of September 2022.

The former Taff Vale Railway 0-6-2T No. 85 will be visiting the North Yorkshire Moors Railway for the first time for their Annual Steam Gala from the 22nd to 25th of Sepetmber 2022. During the gala the locomotive will teamed up with ex Lambton, Hetton & Joicey Collieries Kitson & Co. built 0-6-2T No. 29 for a series of double headed workings together.
