Previously Usina Timbo, Pernambuco to a gauge of 1000mm, initially regauged from 600mm as built. Later Usina Nossa Senhora de Maravilhas, Goiana, Brazil as No. 7 Elisabeth - reduced again in gauge, on this occasion to 750mm as it remains.

From the image, this is actually a 0-8-0T+T (or 4). The locomotive worked for Minas de Santa Ana, Oviedo as their No. 1 where it was regauged from 600mm to 650mm. It has been preserved in the SMFC, Madrid.

Some more info, now operational again No. 3655 will be relocated to Ceres Rail at their base at Witzenberg in the Westerncape where it will return to use on mainline trips with them.

Having been in storage at Cape Town Station for a number of years now the former South African Railways Class 24 2-8-4 No. 3655 has been put back into steam again following an overhaul that was carried out on site by Wonder Steam Trains Pty Ltd. No. 3655 is noew operational again and will move under its own steam along the mainline again to Wonder Steam Trains Pty Ltd. engineeing base at Pretoria.

Originally built for Açúcar de Angola Co. (unidentified) that somehow ended up across the Pacific at the Sandstone Heritage Trust, South Africa and where it was in 2006. Here the gauge is around two feet, but it was originally built to a gauge of either 500, or 600mm.

From Brothers Himmelsbach AG, Freiburg it worked in Hölzebruck, then for Karl Richtberg KG, at Werk Bergrheinfeld and first displayed by the same company in 1980 outside Werk Bingen until at least 1986, after which it was displayed outside ALDI , Stromberg. In 1993 it went to the EB museum Bockenau and where it still was in 2004. It has no recorded identity.

The original SHS stands for State of Slovenes, Croats and Serbs (Slovencev, Hrvatov in Srbov), for whom the locomotive first worked as No. 3027. Later it worked for Yugoslavian Railway (JŽ) as No. 71-022, where it finished work at Prijedor, Bosnia from where it was first plinthed in the JŽ depot at Rajlovac, outside Sarajevo, Bosnia, since moved to be plinthed inside the main railway station in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina in its JŽ identity.

The original SHS stands for State of Slovenes, Croats and Serbs (Slovencev, Hrvatov in Srbov), for whom the locomotive first worked as No. 3018. Only later did it go to Jesenice as No. O-IX. Its dates or identity in Yugoslavia with Jž as No. 71 012 are not recorded, but it has been preserved in Ljubljana, Slovenia Museum in this identity since at least 1994.

This was first placed on display at Purmerend Station, Netherlands and in 1963 went to the NSS in Katwijk, in 1992 at Valkenburg, aan de Geul, Limburg, Netherlands.

This could possibly be 0&K 9976/1922 that is/was an 0-10-0T of 1000mm gauge delivered through Francisca Mattau, Imaos that worked for Usina Sao José, Outeiro that in 1990 was displayed in Fazenda Santa Rosa, Outeiro, Brazil and was there in 2009. There is no other unaccounted 0-10-0, certainly of O&K origin, in Brazil. ???

The ex GWR Hall Class 4-6-0 No. 4930 "Hagley Hall" has now entered service at the Severn Valley Railway for the first time in 36 years as she was launched into traffic today. With sister GWR Hall No. 4920 "Dumbleton Hall" now retired as static exibit in Japan, No. 4930 is now the oldest GWR Hall Class 4-6-0 operating in the UK today.

The ex Linby Colliery Hunslet built 0-6-0T Works No. 2409 "King George" will be debuting in service at Didcot Railway Centre during their big steam up event over the weekend of the 24th and 25th of September 2022, subject to passing its final boiler exam.
