The overhaul on ex LNER B1 Class 4-6-0 No. 1264 will soon get underway at the Nottingham Transport Heritage Centre on the Great Central Railway Nottingham (formely known as the Nottingham Heritage Railway), as work will first focus on the tender as a brand new tender tank with an incresed water capacity will be built for it, as work on the locomotive it self will be a big one, as the wheels need new tyres and heavy boiler work as a new inner firebox is needed along with other things to be carried out. The B1 Locomotive Trust are looking for new memebers to join them in helping them and are appealing for donations to help as well which detials can be found on their website and social media pages.

The ex LMS Black Five 4-6-0 No. 45212 will be visiting the Nene Valley Railway for the winter to be extra motive power for their Santa Specials over the Christmas season from November to December 2023, and January 2024.

Builder: OLW - Upper Silesian Locomotive Works (Krenau) On October 1, 2023, the locomotive with the tender in front collided with a tractor at a level crossing with flashing lights in Stadthagen. As a result of the accident, the leading bogie of the tender derailed and was pushed several meters through the gravel and suffered some damage. Home base in Stadthagen. 52.331070° 9.184549°
