The locomotive was delivered and served with DRB for the relatively short period as No. 52 6011 until November 1945 when it was stored by the SBZ Military Administration until 1949 when it then joined the emerging DR, firstly in the same identity until being re-boilered around 1958-62, re-appearing from the workshops as No. 52 8064, from 1970 as 52 8064-9. It wasvpurchased privately in 1992 and, in 1995, by the 41 096 Society and kept at Saltgitter Klein Mahner. In 2007 it moved to the EF Krefeld but, in 2020 was placed outside the former Bw 21244 Buchholz in der Nordheide as Brian describes, horizontally facing the two road junctions.

According to my notes this locomotive moved in 2020 and is now displayed in Buchholz (Nordheide) near the old roundhouse. Junction Ruetgerstrasse and Wiesenstrasse.
