Another locomotive delivered to the original DRB (successor to the DRG) during WW2 as No. 52 5659, and with the SBZ Military Administration 1945 -1949; DR from the latter date. It was re-built, probably at either Raw Babelsberg or Stendal 1958-1962 and emerged as No. 52 8079, later to become No. 52 8079-7. It became the property of the merged DB in 1991/2 and in 1993 was stored at Bw Berlin-Schöneweide, prior to being preserved privately by a buyer in Celle. For six years from 1995 it was at Stuttgart- Neuoffingen, then from 2002 in at VE Adorf, where it was last recorded in 2003.

52 8079 has been sold to the Dampf-Plus company. At the moment it is located in Dresden.
