This locomotive operated as Argent Lumber Company Number 1, and was brought to Long Beach Resort in Panama City Beach, FL, in 1965. I operated this engine over 9 summer seasons at the Petticoat Junction and Ghost Town Railroad, and accumulated more than 20,000 miles as engineer. I participated in the restoration in 1975, at which time the wood cab was added. You can find photos of the train by searching for Petticoat Junction Amusement Park, Panama City Beach, FL. Many steam fans got their first cab ride with me, and a lot of ex-steam engineers were given one more time at the throttle! I turned out the fire the last time for paying passengers for PJ> on Labor Day, 1984.
