I did some further research and it turns out that I was wrong about my previously claim that this locomotive was at the Orange Empire Railway Museum. I offer my humblest apologies for my error.

Sadly former Light Railway Operating Division (British Army) Hunslet built 4-6-0T No. 303 restoration was not finished in time for the locomotive to debut at the Ffestiniog Railway s Hunslet 125 celebrations. The loco is in its final stages and is instead to make its first public steamings at the Moseley Railway Trust Tracks to the Trenches Event at Apedale on the weekend the 13th to 15th of July 2018.

No. 7822 "Foxcote Manor" is visiting the Mid-Hants Railway in Hampshire for the very first time for there Autumn Steam Gala on the weekend of 19th to 21st of October 2018 which will have a Great Western theme to it this year.

Following completion of its overhaul Robert Stephenson & Hawthorn built Austerity 0-6-0ST No. 49 has been steam tested and has passed with flying colours. The locomotive will start running in trials before entering service at the Tanfield Railway very soon.

JZ No. 17.035 is dumped in the triangle of lines between the Belgrade to Skopje main line and the line to the Bulgarian border.

With The Depot now for sale, No. 1 has now been relocated back to Worthington.

OK well when I visited the OERM this Spring, I found six steam locomotives there (as opposed to the five shown in this website). I asked where the sixth locomotive came from and they said it was this specific locomotive from Disneyland. If I, and the people I talked to at OERM, are wrong, then what is the sixth locomotive at OERM?

The Henschel & Sohn built 0-4-0T No. 14 "Helen Kathryn" has also now left the South Tynedale Railway as it has been sold to a new owner in November last year and has relocated to its new home at the Threlkeld Quarry & Mining Museum where it is being overhauled for use their.

The former Minas y Ferrocarril de Utrillas Henschel & Sohn built 0-4-0T No. 6 "Thomas Edmondson" has since left the South Tynedale Railway as it was deemed to unsuitable for the now longer railway from Alston to Slaggyford. The locomotive was sold in April this year with its nameplates now removed to another narrow gauge heritage railway in Germany.

Some more information has come that Ex Dinorwic Slate Quarries Quarry Hunslet 0-4-0ST "Velinheli" is not currently operational as its still under overhaul and having its new boiler made still. But it is taking part at the Hunslet 125 event at the Ffestiniog Railway but on display only.

No. 7821 "Ditcheat Manor" is to come out of the Swindon Steam Museum and take up the display space at the McArthur Glen Designer Outlet from 7819 "Hinton Manor". There at the shopping centre it will promote the West Somerset Railway for about three years till West Somerset based Small Prairie 2-6-2T No. 4561s overhaul is completed and then work can start on 7821.

After spending a decade on display at the McArthur Glen Designer Outlet in Swindon No. 7819 "Hinton Manor" is to return back home to the Severn Valley Railway. Its currently unknown if it will be overhauled anytime soon but its likely the locomotive may go in the Engine House Museum at Highley for the time being?

GWR Large Prairie Tank No. 5199 has had to return to the Llangollen Railway for repairs to be carried out after it failed on a test run during its visit at the East Lancashire Railway.

The LMS Hughes-Fowler built Crab 2-6-0 No. 13065 has been taken out of service at the East Lancashire Railway due to a cracked tubeplate. The boiler has been sent to nearby Riley & Sons Engineering Ltd for repairs and overhaul to give it a new 10 year boiler ticket. The frames of the locomotive will have some work done as well where its hoped No. 13065 will be back in traffic in the late Autumn in time for the Santa Specials season.

No. 34053 "Sir Keith Park" has had to be withdrawn from service for some repairs to a loose or cracked crown on one of the driving wheel axleboxes. But the repairs will hopefully be swift and the rebuilt Bulleid Light Pacific could be back in traffic at the Swanage Railway at the end of July or early August?

Former War Department Robert Stephenson & Hawthorn built Austerity 0-6-0ST No. 27 "Norman" has now left the Embsay & Bolton Abbey Steam Railway and has been moved to Bryn Engineering at Wigan near Manchester for its overhaul for its owners Southern Locomotives Ltd. It is hoped its overhaul will be done at the end of next year in 2019 and then No. 27 will take residence at the Swanage Railway in Dorset along with the rest of Southern Locomotives Ltd fleet there.

This is now Frisco Silver Dollar Line No. 504 It is fully operational and running at Silver Dollar City. Converted to burn oil.

The General suffered a fire in its tender recently. The fire appears to be from the motor/pump. You can find video of this on Youtube. Not sure how much was damaged, but the locomotive is out of service.

This photo is actually the Carbon Limestone 0-4-0, #9 on PJRR. The smaller 0-4-0 on the property is the #5.

Some new information has come to light as it turns out that "Smokey Joe" had been at the Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway before when it was new in the late 1990s before it came to the Sherwood Forest Railway in 1999. So its visit for the 70th anniversary will be a quit special.

I just had word that the boiler does NOT need replacement. Although the 2nd course is pitted, it can be easily fixed but the price is about 1.23 million dollars for a full 1472. the firebox sheets have been ultrasounded and are awaiting results.
