Loco is a 4-8-2, ex SAR 14-1723, built by RS (Robert Stephenson) 3607 in 1914.

With the reopening of the EBT, the status of No. 14 is restoration. It is hoped to be the second steam locomotive returned to operation after No. 16.

With the EBT reopening, No. 16 status is now restoration. It is expected to be the first steam locomotive to haul excursions again. The hope at the earliest as of this writing is 2021.

The new build replica Great Western Railway Hawksworth County Class 4-6-0 No. 1014 "County of Glamorgan" has reached another milestone with the fitment of her new smokebox with chimney and number in place. But the construction is still ongoing and to project still needs funding of £175.000 to complete the locomotive by 2022.

Former N Greening Ltd. Andrew Barclay built 0-4-0ST No. 293 "Colin McAndrew" has returned home to the Chasewater Railway in service following completion of its 10 year overhaul that had been carried out at Locomotive Maintenance Services Ltd at Loughborough.

Former Kent Electric Power Co. Bagnall built 0-4-0ST No. 2 has now been withdrawn from service for its 10 year overhaul. Having last been used in steam for a photo charter.

The former Farleigh Mill 1922 Avonside built 0-4-0T Works No. 1909 is leaving Queensland, Australia for a new life in the UK. As the locomotive is being repatriated for use at the Bala Lake Railway at Llanuwchllyn in Gwynedd, North Wales having been bought by a member of the railway there and is expected to arrive in the UK in October 2020.

No. 34007 "Wadebridge" is having a cosmetic restoration being carried out as its planned to move the locomotive for covered accommodation at the One:One Collection (Locomotive Storage Ltd) at the old Hornby Factory at Margate in Kent. Despite at mystery benefactor putting £100K to words her next overhaul which the Mid-Hants Railway is working out when that will be?

Former Maerdy Colliery Peckett built OQ Class 0-6-0ST No. 2150 "Mardy Monster" the most powerful industrial steam locomotive has been sold to a new private owner and has now left the Elsecar Heritage Railway and is said to have been relocated too Boden Rail Engineering at Nottingham in Nottinghamshire for completion of her overhaul there.

Having worked her final trains over the weekend No. 6023 "King Edward II" has now been withdrawn from service. The locomotive will be placed on display at Didcot while she awaits her turn for her next overhaul.

The North Eastern Locomotive Preservation Group have just launched a £225,000 appeal to overhaul sole surviving LNER J72 0-6-0T No. 69023 "Joem" back into steam again. As the locomotive is in need of a rebuild as it needs a new Cylinder Block to be made and a new Smokebox fitted and a lot of boiler work to be carried out. It is hoped that No. 69023 will steam again by the end of 2023.

The ex Acton Hall Colliery and former WD Ministry of Supply Hunslet built 50550 Class 0-6-0ST WD70066 and No. S112 "Revenge" also known as "Spitfire" is also located at Bryn Engineering Services at Bolton in Lancashire as well where it has been under restoration for a number of years there.

The ex NCB Baggeridge Colliery Hunslet built Austerity 0-6-0ST Works No. 3776 "Warspite" also known as No. 8 "Sir Robert Peel" is now located at Bryn Engineering Services at Bolton in Lancashire where it has been for a number of years now.

I currently own this locomotive, it is undergoing a through restoration, the boiler needed extensive repairs as did the running gear, when finished it will have air brakes, new cab, new tender, better oil firing system and couplers. It has been renumbered to #7 Colorado Pacific.

The ex South African Railways Glasgow North British Locomotive Company built Class 24 2-8-4 No. 3620 was steamed for the first time in 7 months at her new home at the Bellarine Peninsular Railway at Queenscliffe in Victoria, Australia. In readyness for its new life there hauling dinner trains for its new owners Q Train.

This n.68 is still in operation, stored in São Joao del Rei (MG Brazil) Station Museum and working on weekends in 2 trips a day to Tiradentes (MG Brazil) far 12km from its home. Is currently burning oil and is one of the oldest 762mm gauge still in operation. Tickets available @ around 12 dollars roud trip, you could add the link by search "trem turistico tiradentes" at google
