On on 23 September 2003, the loco was inside the roundhouse at Bw Schwalmstadt-Treysa, disconnected from its tender which was outside in the yard.Both seemed in good order.

rebuilt in June 1990 and operated as a stationary boiler (dampfspender) by DR. Seen at Amplfwang in 2004 in a poor condioion but was moved into the train shed in 2005.

78 606 was previously plinthed near Amstetten station (in photograph) n was there is 2004 when I passed by. A plaque suggests it had been there since 1974.

The loco and tender are still stored on site. The shire of Harvey has approved the stage 1 plans of the Yarloop Workshops redevelopment plan. The loco is planned to be restored.

Following some repairs to her boiler the ex Southern Railways Bulleid designed Battle of Britain Light Pacific No. 34081 "92 Squadron" is now back in steam again and set to return to service at the Nene Valley Railway over the Christmas season there.

Withdrawn from Bw Halbersleben to store, 52 8189 was based at Stassfurt. It was privately owned when seen there on 24 September 2003

52 8137-3 was one of a line of BR50s and 52s stored along the roadside at the rear of Bw Stassfurt in 1995. It seemed not to have moved by September 2003 when it was still alongside the road at the rear of Bw Stassfurt during the Dampfest on 27 September 2003

Eisenbahn in Lohmuhlenmuseum had a single Br52 in their display at Lohmuhle in Tambach, south of Gotha in September 2003. It was well presefved, but non-operational. The history of the lok is confused. Some reports that it was withdrawn to store from Bw Leipzig Hbf Sud as late as 3/95. It was at sold to Herr Vedder July 1994 but without a tender and sited at Stassfurt before coming to Tambach.

In steam and operational in September2003 at Stassfurt., Part of the Bw Gusten allocation, 8184 had ended its service life in the Stassfurt based allocation, and ownership passed to EM Stassfurt in 1994.

The lok was withdrawn to store from Bw Halberstadt in 1991, but is also shown as sold to Fa. Konigshutte as a heizlok in 1989! It was then bought by Herr Muller (1/04) and stored at Stassfurt. It was present in a very dereleict state September 2003

OK,sadly now 45305 has been taken out of service for overhaul. She will be dormant for a while, but she will return.

Has been purchased by the Shire of Murray in 2021 who plan to restore it for display with a carriage at the entrance to Pinjarra.

Built for the Lake View & Star mining company in 1910 by Orenstein and Koppel. After the 2 ft lines serving the mines and mills was dieselised in the 1930s it was retained on standby along with the rest of the steam fleet. It was donated to the ARHS WA division around 1962. It originally fully restored and put on display in November of 1971. But was stored to make room rusting away. It has now been fully restored and is back on display and has been since 2019.

The ex Victorian Railways re-gauged R Class Hudson 4-6-4 R766 will be making her debut on the standard gauge mainlines of New South Wales, Australia for the very first time with a mainline test run from Branxton to Singleton light engine and back on the 30th of October 2021.
