Dale W Fickés reports that the loco was originally Bilbao Portugalete Railway (B-P) No.4. This line is an 11km (18 minutes) journey along the south side of the estuary in Bilbao, which is now part of the local rapid transit system. I think few people will not recognise the initials by themselves. It was never part of RENFE, and the loco was purchased by MSP before the national company was inaugurated.
