Following Melnik, it went to Brewery Göß, then in 1960 Messrs. Kern to then be named “WERKLOK KERN” before transfer to the railway museum at Gross Schwechat where it was recorded in 2004.

The locomotive was procured through Messrs Schuback & Söhne, Hamburg for Cia. Docas de Santos (ITATINGA and No. 12 was it’s identity).

The double ‘ll’ spelling is, apparently, Italian which would have no connection with this locomotive, whereas the singular version ‘’ would connect it the the port area where it worked in Brazil. I would suggest, whilst currently on the locomotive, the plate is a mis-spelt replica?

The Brazilian inventory of existing locos lists this loco as built in 1921 but works number is unknown.

I believe this to be Krauss (probably Linz) and 1037 of 1894 and it would be a 0-4-0T delivered to Lokalbahn Ostrow-Witkowitz as No. 3. In 1904 it went to Zuckerfabrick Petöháza Muki, and later to Növényalaj-és-Szappangyar, Györ Muki followed by Szeszgyár és Finomitó and is now believed to be in the Technical Museum, Brno, retaining the number 3.

With track work and infrastructure work nearing completion to make the West Somerset Railway run heavyer locomotives again, No. 9466 will soon be returning home to the West Somerset Railway to see out the reminder of its boiler ticket that runs till 2025.

On close inspection it looks like "VALLONGO" - we will settle for that...unless anyone knows better.

First supplied through Oberbayerische to the Kohlenbergbau, Grube Penzberg as No. 9001. First preserved as No. 9001 in Speilplatz, Penzberg; then Layritz, Penzberg prior to Bischler Strake, Penzberg (recorded here 09/2006).

The locomotive belonged to ÖBB from 1958 until 1973.

The locomotive was originally supplied to Lokalbahn Forst as their No. 36, hence it’s current location. It was only Forster Staatteisenbahn from 1920, first being placed for preservation in the Verkehrsmueum, Dresden before returning to Forst.

This should actually be No. 9 “VALONGO”, later belonging to Sao José do Ario Preto.

This was originally Steiermäkische Landesbahn “GONOBITZ 3”, becoming Slovenian Railways No. K 3 following WWl, later installed in Ljubljana.

I sourced this as Krauss 2092 of 1889 and named “LAVOURA” at this location ?

Observing the image, I assume this should really be presented as a 0-4-0ST ??
