This was originally No. 1 of the Tachin Railway, supplied through an intermediary (Kinch of Bangkok). It ‘may’ have sometime been numbered with it’s build number 5012?

The name L Moll, München-Lohhof was a past employer of this locomotive, with no published identity! It has been with the museum since 1983.

It has been at Gross Schwechat since 1987 at least.

This loco is now part of the KHKD collection at Kneževes in Czechia where I saw it in September 2014.

Originally Bayerische Staatsbahn No. 2730 to become, from 1925, DRG (Please note NOT DR) No. 98 507. Adopted by the DB from 1949 to 1960, then stored at Bw Ingolstadt prior to preservation in the city at the Bf from 1968.

This locomotive was displayed at Ljubljana -Zalog Station but in September 2016 I saw it in the store shed at Ljubljana Museum. Sine then I have an unconfirmed report it is on display at Kocevje Station.

I have an October 2018 report saying it is displayed at Druna Industrija Krivaja but unable to see anything on satellite view.

I have checked this location on Google Earth and, in a Street view image from August 2018, the loco and van were displayed at the railway station. I will leave it there as I cannot see a church nearer than the station building.

I have the location, not at the station, but outside (presumably) a church, like a Class P48 in Poland!

The builder would have been Krauss-Maffei by this date.

This is just ‘Maffei’ NOT Krauss. It was IRR Bauleitung Bregenz, Steinbruch. It also worked for the same company in Rorschach and later Widnau prior to retirement in Lustenau.

Originally kkStB No. 17802 which,, in 1918 became CSD No. 178.02. It was later renumbered 422.002 retaining that identity during WW2 and until 1968 with the CSD.

Supplied through L. Orlieb, München to Krivaja Waldbahn as “KUSACE”, later JŽ with the same identity. No number recorded. Stored at Zavidovici in 1973.

This is Friedlander Bezirks Bahn (FBB) “12 FRIEDLAND” that became CSD No. U37.008 in 1918 and, from 1939 to 1945 No. 99 792 after which it reverted to it’s CSD number at Nymburk. Later it went to Jindrichuv-Hradec as No. U47.001 where it was in 1998.

In 1975 the locomotive was preserved privately by E. Schneider before appearing two years later at a holiday park in Haßloch, Pfalz for two decades prior to arriving at it’s current location in late 1998.

The Pioneer Beyer-Garratt, 0-4-0+0-4-0 K1 will visit the Welshpool & Llanfair Railway for the very first time to star at their Beyer Bash Gala on the 20th to 22nd of May 2022, which will mark the 120th birthdays of the Welshpool & Llanfair Railway’s two orginal locomotives "The Earl" and "The Countess". K1 will be operating on a short section of 2ft gauge track there during the Gala. K1 is also to return to the Statfold Barn Railway at the end of March 2022.

Commencing as Lokalbahn Röwersdorf-Hotzenplotz, during inter-war years this was No. U37.004 for the CSD until ‘drafted’ into the DRG as 99 7843. In 1945 it became ÖstB and ÖBB respectively No. 298.14 and, in 1970, went to private company, Eurovapor on the Waldenburger Bahn and reached it’s current location in 1983; It was reduced to 750mm gauge in 1994.

Originally purchased though a intermediary for lime works, Ogorek & Co., Tornau nr. Oppeln. 1925-1938 worked for a company entitled Krappamühle and 1938-1940 Schrotthändler, Hamburg and 1940-1959 Eberhard König-Ketten GmbH, Eslohe. No number ever recorded.

In 1967 the locomotive went to Bruce MacDonald, Marsden Historic Vehicle Museum, Goulburn taken on by the city council in 1971.

Prerauer & Co. Berlin were merely an intermediary for operator Ziegelei Mildenberg, Zehdenick and passed to various company depots before reaching the Military Musem in Dresden in 1993.
