It is possible that the plates on the cab of this locomotive M.R.C. 2 relate to the Japanese company, Mitsu Rail Corporation ?

This was originally No. 1 of the Tachin Railway, supplied through an intermediary (Kinch of Bangkok). It ‘may’ have sometime been numbered with it’s build number 5012?

Thanks for this opportunity to contact you. I am in charge for the restoration of this Krauss 0-4-2T No 5012 to display in Museum. But I really would like a complete work to see and hear it moving. Max speed: 45 km, Max steam pressure: 12 Atm, Weight on each coupling axle in empty: 4400kg, in full: 5700kg, Weight on trailing axle in empty: 8100kg in full: 4600kg.
