Prior to, and during the early part of WW2 was ÖAMG No. 24. Renumbered to 4/60 in 1942; then Hüttenwerke Donawitz, Leoben as No. 60.3 from 1947. Gauge changed from 830 790mm. During the 1980s it was preserved at Talstation Abenteuer Erzberg, Eisenerz, being noted here in 2013.

Previously Böhlerwerke Kapkenberg No. 4; in 1971 Zillertalbahn then Märchenald Grafrath until 1974 when it went to Lennestadt-Elsie.

Previously No. 19 and reduced from 830mm gauge to 790mm whilst in Leoben, 1970. Has been at Stainz since 1997.

Became property of the Australian Iron & Steel Pty. and in 1971 went to Bruce Macdonald’s Marsden Museum of Historical Engines, Goulburn. In 1974 it was purchased by R. Hague, either in part or full ?

The locomotive was originally Vascongados, Ponferrada & Villablino Railway No. 51, later 152. From 1961 became MSP No. 17 but is now under the museum (Ponferrada) books as No. 18.

Originally Bayerische Staatsbahn No. 2562 (I don’t know where 2527 comes from!) and it has been DRG, and subsequently DB (from 1949) No. 98 812 since 1925. It was sold to UEF in 1972. My primary image is from the late 60s!

The actual number is 7.536 with a ‘.’ between the 7 and following running number of all metre gauge 2-6-0T locomotives.

There are two locos. 60.2 is at Erlach 6449 of 1911 plated 7216. The real 7216 aka 60.6 is at Birkfeld as shown.

I did a thorough tour of Greece in 1979 and 1980. 7532 was not seen. 7535 was at Patras and is now preserved elsewhere. 7553 was stored at Pirgos and noted as a complete loco many having had the cylinders removed. 7553 was seen at Patras in June 2019 being 5452 of 1906.

My last report of this loco was Prora in 2005. The Britzer garden railway website shows only diesels. So mystery where it is now.

Originally 30” gauge and purchased for Maroochy Shire Council Buderim Tramway. In 1935 it went to the 24” Gibson & Howes Ltd., Marlborough, also changing to the necessary gauge and worked at Bingera Sugar Mill. In 1967 it went to E. M. Loveday, Albion and, in 1975, to Graham Chapman, Murrumbidgee Downs as “KRAUSS”

Originally GS No. 12, then No. 6. From 1971 displayed in a playground in St. Ingbert as No. and in 199, was purchased privately by B. Könen, Losheim am See/Saar as No. 8.

Prior to 1948 it was OK No. 5 “TUROWO” and from 1956 worked at Sugar Factory Brezesc, Kujawki as their No. 13, moving to the latest museum in 1977.

Originally Sugar Fabrik, Maribor which became it’s current site identity only in 1956. Preserved privately in 1961; Went to Automusem Ålholm in 1973 and later, from 1993 at Hedelands Veteranbanen (HVB) became B3 “SUKKERGRIS”.
