This locomotive was originally delivered to kkStB as their Halle No. 6011 (the Division being important as they ‘duplicated’ numbers in all different areas of the network. It became, from 1925 DRG No. 57 3088 which it kept through SBZ into, in 1948, DB and when computerised to 057 088. It was withdrawn in 1970 and, in 1974, placed in the grounds of the entrance to Bw Haltungen as No. 57 3088 until around 2002 when it was moved by Eisenbahnfreunde Betzdorf to Bw Siegen on a twenty year loan.

CFR (KPEV) 0-10-0 No. 50.378 (carries plates from 50.115)Posted by: Dale W Fickés on Mar 27, 2022 @ 08:03:18
This locomotive bears the side-plates of locomotive CFR No. 50-515, now demised, to replace those from 50-378 which ‘disappeared’! This should therefore solve the mystery as to why the former number appears, incorrectly on this site; another file which may be depleted, I.e. Rheinmetall 241/1921 is not extant!
