The locomotive became JŽ No. 20-183 in 1945, several years before being displayed in this guise, by 2001, at Trebnje, Lower Carola, Slovenia.

In 1964 this locomotive was employed at Paper Fabrik Co., Razlog, and, from 1970 (with others) outside in the ‘museum’ at Bansko. In 1998 it was placed on display at Plovdiv Main Station until being moved into Septemvri depot in 2006 where it remains.

The actual build date was 1922, rather than three year’s later. Septemvri is located in Pazardzhik Province, Bulgaria.

Hi Steve, despite previous note not too recently,I see you have included the DBAG computerised heritage number for this locomotive ? All ‘running’ DB locomotives have one, even if not displayed externally.

In September 2018 was located at Neustadt a/d Weinstrasse at the DGEG Eisenbahnmuseum on display.

The last built surviving Machinefabrik Karlsruhe locomotive that worked at Mannheim Gasworks, with no recorded identity. It worked for Chemical Fabrik Weyl GmbH, Mannheim from 1968 until retirement in 1983. The following year it went to the Technical Museum, Sinsheim. I think your current ‘Fa. Weil’ is a mis-representation of it’s last company employer ?, as correctly given here.

This is a Machinefabrik Karlsruhe locomotive, originally built for Badenische Local Railway as No. 20 for their Nebenbahn Bruchsal-Hilsbach-Menzingen line and, from 1965, working on the Biberach-Oberharmersbach line. It was displayed after service in 1968 at the Bf of the latter until 1987 when it was taken to the AEV, Ottenhöfen, in 1998 receiving boiler No. 1514 from RAW Meiningen.

At the present moment the loco is being overhauled, now fitted with a new boiler, located at Landshut depot.

Another locomotive built by Machinefabrik Karlsruhe for the SHS as their No. 1088. In 1933 it became JŽ No. 01-088 and retains that identity as a museums locomotive, working from Beograd in Serbia.

Actually built by Machinefabrik Karlsruhe for the SHS, Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia as their No. 1065 later, in 1933 becoming JŽ No. 01-085. It was withdrawn from Ersp depot, Beograd in 2007.

Another locomotive built by Machinefabrik Karlsruhe originally for Badische Staatsbahn as their No. 1125 that became DRG No. 58 311, through to 1945 at Bw Senftenberg and from 1949 with DR as No. 58 311, and later No. 58 1111. Upon retirement it went to the DDM in 1977 and, in 1984 to the UEF in it’s original DRG identity.

Another Maschinenfabrik Karlsruhe locomotive, originally built for the Badenische Staatsbahn as their No. 1122, becoming in 1925 DRG No. 75 1118 which it retained through to 1949 when was ‘adopted’ by DB and subsequently worked until April 1967, being withdrawn at Bw Radolfzell. It was ‘saved’ from the cutters torch in 1970 at TH Karlsruhe and went, in 1973, to the DGEG museum in Neustadt. It has been re-constructed and has been with UEF since 1983.

Another Machinefabrik Karlsruhe locomotive that was originally delivered to the Heeresfeldbahn as No. HK 96 which, in 1920 went to the NWE as their No. 41. It was re-numbered No. 99 5906 by the DR at the end of 1949 and, upon re-unification of Germany, the unified DB gave it the number 099 113 for 1992, the system being purchased by the new HSB in 1993, and it reverted to it’s DR identity.

Another Machinefabrik Karlsruhe built locomotive, originally, as No. HK 95, delivered to the Heeresfeldbahn which, in 1919, went to Kleinbahn Haspe-Vörde-Breckerfeld as their No. 28. In 1928 it an for Zell-Todtnau as No. 105 prior to reaching Chaulin, Switzerland as “TODNAU” and has been there since 1968, except for a brief stint on the HSB in Wernigerode during 1999.

This locomotive has been located in the DGEG museum in Neustadt a. d. Weinstrasse, Rheinland-Pfalz Germany since 2019 at least. Status is waiting restoration.

The former Darjeeling-Himalayan Railway Sharp Stewart built B Class 0-4-0ST No. 778 which is what No. 19 is numbered today, will not be relocating as the private Beeches Light Railway is to remain where it is as the plans to relocate it have been dropped.

In 1986 it went to the MTV in Berlin as No. 9184 for a couple of years, later in 1994 reaching the RTS, Bad Säckingen as No. Xb 175, being there in 2001.

Builder Machinefabrik Karlsruhe, built for the Baden Local Railways, Karlsruhe-Ettlingen as No. 7kk. It later worked at Karlsruhe Gasworks before being displayed during the 1970s in Rheinestrandbad, Rappenwört until 1995 when taken to the DEV.

Builder is Machinefabrik Karlsruhe, rather than Baden State Railways. This was originally Süddeutsche Eisenbahn Gesellschaft No. 56 which, in 1911, became OEG in the same identity. It was withdrawn from service in 1955, to be displayed, in 1961 at Bf Mannheim.until 1975 when it went in a similar position at Fernmeldeturm, reaching the DGEG Museum, Viernheim in 1976, later the OEG in 1989 ANF die finally the Landmuseum in Mannheim during 1990.

Builder was Maschinenfabrik Karlsruhe. After being at the ArGe in 1989 in Forst, it went, in 1994, to the Museumsbahnen at Aumühle, outside Hamburg until 2005, when it again moved, on this occasion to Pro Dampf e. V., Osterode am Harz.

Sorted, I hope. Steam locomotive dot com shows the loco here having come from Paredon. But Google maps still show locos in both places.
