One of the original steam locomotives to operate on this railway. After withdrawal it became the operating steam loco on the Ferrocarril Historico El Encanto, a 4 mile tourist railway operating from Los Lagos to El Encanto. This railway closed in 1998. 820 seems to have been having an overhaul when the railway closed. Metal thieves have damaged the loco beyond repair. The loco was removed at an unknown date. The remains were cleaned up and heavily painted. Now displayed at the Hacienda Santa Teresa near Caracas. Gran Ferrocarril de Venezuela opened in 1894. Ran 110 miles from Caracas to Valencia with 24 stations. Fully closed by 1966. Newspapers say the government is attempting to reopen the FC Historico El Encanto. Even though a lot of the infrastructure has been stolen.
