Delivered to the KPEV as Königsberg No. 2459, it became DRG No. 38 1772 in 1925 through DRB 1937-1945; SBZ 1945-1948 to DB in 1948, subsequently No. 038 772-0 until the end of 1974 when withdrawn and privately preserved from 1975 by H Greifenberger of Hamburg, 1975-1982 at the VVM, and from 1987 subsequently at Lengerich, later Dieringhausen.

The BR built LMS Ivatt Class 2MT 2-6-2T No. 41312 will visit the Somerset & Dorset Railway Heritage Trust at Midsomer Norton in Somerset for a short period in September 2022 to help mark the 60th anniversary of the last Pines Express that ran over the legendry Somerset and Dorset line and the revival of the Somerset and Dorset Joint Railway at Midsomer Norton. No. 41312 will be hauling trains there over the weekend of the 17th and 18th of September 2022. In addition two photo charter events with 41312 will running on Thursday 15th and Friday 16th September too.

For the first time ever the former New South Wales Government Tramways Beyer, Peacock built 0-4-0VB Steam Tram No. 2 "John Bull" will make her first visit away from the National Tramway Museum to visit the Welshpool & Llanfair Railway as part of the line up of Beyer, Peacock company built locomotives for their Beyer Bash celebration on May 20th, 21st & 22nd 2022.

The ex East Brussels Tram Company Cockerill built 0-4-0VBT tram engine No. 8 "Lucie" is making a short visit over the channel to her homeland of Belgium to its home city of Brussels for a visit to the Brussels Tram Museum (Musée du Transport Urbain Bruxellois or Museum voor het Stedelijk Vervoer te Brussel).

The ex War Department Hunslet built Austerity 0-6-0ST WD190 has been withdrawn from service due to its boiler failing and its boiler ticket coming to a end soon. The locomotive is now awaiting overhaul.

The overhaul on the ex Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway Pug 0-4-0ST No. 19 has now been completed and has been steamed for the first time in preservation for a number of years. No. 19 will soon be tested and ran in before entering service soon.

The former LNER A4 Pacific No. 60009 "Union of South Africa" will continue to remain at the East Lancashire Railway for the time being as the A4 is to be placed on display in the Bury Transport Museum for a year or longer? As the John Camron owner of Number 9 still wants the locomotive to be accessed by members of the public still.

The ex Royal Ordnance Factory Bagnall Built 0-4-0ST Works No. 2648 "Dunlop No. 6" ("Linda") has gone on a short hired visit to Peak Rail as extra steam motive power for the early part of the 2022 season there.

The overhaul on the Yugoslavian built pirate copy Class 62 USA 0-6-0T No. 30075 (JZ 62.669) is coming along well at its home at Shillingstone in North Dorset as there has been a lot of work carried out which has seen a brand new smoke box door being made along with work on inproving its ashpan. When completed No. 30075 will be turned out in British Railways Southern Region malachite green livery as it did when she first steamed in the UK after arriving from Slovenia and modifide to suit UK standards back in 1990. It is hoped that No. 30075 will be in steam in 2023 but Project 62 are still secking funding to complete the overhaul which to help they have launched to have members of the public to have their names on a nameplate costing £31 each which will be fitted in the cab of 30075. BR Standard 9F 2-10-0 No. 92203 "Black Prince" will make her first visit away from the North Norfolk Railway for the first time in a number of years this year as the locomotive will visit the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway as their fourth and final visiting locomotive for their Cotswold Festival of Steam Somerset & Dorset Remembered themed Gala from the 3rd to 5th of June 2022.

The boiler of BR built LMS Ivatt Class 2MT 2-6-0 No. 46464 was steamed for the first time in 43 years and passed a successful steam test at Northern Steam Engineering with flying colours. This is a big milestone for the locomotive as its now reached the final stages of restoration to return it to service again.

the restoration stalled out for a little while. However, it regained momentum in July 2021 and it is hoped the locomotive will be operational by the time 90 needs to go in for its 15 year overhaul.

Loco is ex 64-061, not 64-051 which went to Lithuania in 1/1/1946, later to SZD as TY-051.

The ex GWR 9400 Class 0-6-0PT No. 9466 will visit the Epping Ongar Railway in Essex as their second visiting locomotive for their 10th anniversary steam gala from 2nd to 5th of June 2022.

The ex War Department Hunslet built Austerity 0-6-0ST No. 75008 "Swiftsure" has gone on a hired visit to the Kent & East Sussex Railway as extra motive power to them over their spring and summer season this year.

This locomotive was originally delivered to KPEV as Bromberg (now Glowing pBydgoszcz) No. 7909 which, in 1919 became PKP No. TKp1-26 until 1941 when sequestrated into the DRG as No. 92 973. It returned to the PKP in 1945, this time under the guise of TKp1-46 and worked until 1967; whereupon it was plinthed at Bydgoszcz Glowny.

This locomotive is the last extant steam locomotive to be built by this manufacturer, it being delivered direct to the DRG (NOT KPEV) as No. 64 051 as I have it (not 061 ?) which, in 1945, was ceded to the PKP as No. Okl2-6. It was later plinthed as recorded.

This was delivered direct to the DRG as their No. 80 009 and kept that identity until through to DR in1949 and until, in 1963, it became Werklok No, 2 at RAW Halle, then in 1970 as No. 5 at Leipzig. In 1981 it was preserved privately by a Herr Hollenbach in B-Bohnsdorf.

Originally delivered to KPEV as their Erfurt 8526 which, in 1925, became DRG No. 99 230, the identity which it carried through SBZ until 1949 when it then became DR in the same identity, working through to 1968. It was then requisitioned as as DR Tradionslok at Dresden-Altstadt.

Originally delivered to KPEV as No. Essen 7964, that became a little over a decade later DRG No. 92 739 through to 1948 when it was taken over by DB in the same identity, working through to 1965. In 1970 it was plinthed in Volkspark Stadtallendorf until 1991 when it went to the DGEG museum at Neustadt/Weinstraße.

A locomotive that was delivered to KPEV as Stettin (now Szczecin) No. 7906 that a decade or more later became DRG No. 92.638 and remained in that identity, both for SBZ in November 1945 and DR in 1949.The previous year it had been designated as EKS/EKO Eisenhüttenstadt No. 13, later in 1970, Industrialbahn Erfurt, Erfurt-Ost No. 5 until 1977 when it was purchased by MEM, Minden as their ‘Stettin 7906’, where it still was in 2002.

The locomotive was delivered to KPEV as Essen No. 7901; in 1925 becoming DRG No. 92 503 the identity which it carried through SBZ in 1945, to DR in 1949. It was made a Tradionslok locomotive at Dresden Altstadt in 1968 and has since been fitted with Union boiler No. 1565. It only automatically became a DB locomotive in 1991/2 but spent most of it’s life with DRG/DR.

Originally supplied as DRG No. 52 1738 that kept this identity through to early 1947 when sequestrated to the USSR, then became SZD TE-1738, later No. 1042 1436. In 1996 it was stored at a reserve in Bagrationovsk, Kaliningrad Oblast, Russia.

Originally delivered as DRG No. 52 1714, it remained in this guise throughout WW2 to the succession of DR in 1948, but in 1958-1962 was re-boilered and given the guise No. 52 8155, later No. 52 8155-5. It was withdrawn from service in 1988 and in 1994 reach the storage facility of Basdorf, at a depot north of Berlin. It may never have reached Falkenberg, as intended!

Originally delivered as DRG No. 52 1711, it continued in this guise until after WW2 when ‘adopted’ by DR then, between 1958-1962 was re-built and then emerged as No. 52 8019, later 52 8019-3, being withdrawn in 1986. PLEASE NOTE CLASS NUMBER.. It was purchased in 1993 for the museum in Tuttlingen.

Originally delivered to DRG as No. 52 1700, it was sequestrated by the USSR after WW2 in basically the same guise, as TE-1700, then given No. 1042 1394. In 1996 it was stored in Brest, Belarus.
