The locomotive was delivered to the original DRB (successor to the DRG) as No. 52 5465 and after a short period with the SBZ Military Administration in Berlin during 1945 was sequestrated by the Soviets, re-gauged and re-numbered as SŽD TE-5465. SZD (DRB) 2-10-0 No. TE-5459 (52.5459)Posted by: Dale W Fickés on Apr 24, 2022 @ 03:04:04
The locomotive was delivered during WW2 to the (original) DRB (as successor to the DRG) and was sequestrated by the Soviets for the SŽD in 1945 as No. TE-5459. I think that ‘CZD’ is a misprint for SŽD; It was recorded last at Brest, Belarus.

Slight alteration to last comment; the SŽD number should read TE-5422, rather than what is printed though the E was Cyrillic on the locomotive.
