The locomotive was delivered to KPEV as Essen No. 7901; in 1925 becoming DRG No. 92 503 the identity which it carried through SBZ in 1945, to DR in 1949. It was made a Tradionslok locomotive at Dresden Altstadt in 1968 and has since been fitted with Union boiler No. 1565. It only automatically became a DB locomotive in 1991/2 but spent most of it’s life with DRG/DR.

Ex DR(Prussian Railways(KPEV)Class T14) No. 92.503, a 0-8-0T is displayed at Dresden Altstadt during the Steam Festival there on 30 April 2000.
