The ex LMS Stanier 2-6-4T No. 2500 has now arrived at the Bury Transport Museum at East Lancashire Railway at Bury in Lancashire, for display much sooner then first thought where the locomotive is now inside the main museum building on loan to them from the National Railway Museum.

The New-build LMS Patriot 4-6-0 No. 5551 "The Unknown Warrior" is now located at Tyseley Locomotive Works, at Tyseley near Birmingham in Worcestshire, which is now the new assembly base for the locomotive, where its construction will continue as the project to built No. 5551 is now in a much better placed to go on to the next stage of rewheeling at Tyseley when the new wheelsets for the locomotive are delivered by Riley & Son Engineering Ltd. of Heywood, Bury in Lancashire in 2024.

With its construction and steam testing now completed, the Perrygrove Railway’s 2023 North Bay Engineering built 0-6-0ST "Mr Hallworth" is now a operation locomotive, and has now left North Bay Railway Engineering Services and has moved to its home at the Perrygrove Railway at Coleford in Gloucestershire, where it will be tested before entering service in 2024.

The overhaul on ex LMS Black Five 4-6-0 No. 44806, is now completed and the locomotive is back operational again, and has started testing and running in trials before entering service at the North Yorkshire Moors Railway in 2024.

KKHB means "k.u.k. Heeresbahn" k.u.k. Army railway in Austria. For the locomotive kukHB 322 with c/n 166 the following is mentioned: Manufacturer: Breitfeld & Danek 1919; Gauge is 600mm; Typ RIIIc; The locomotive was still under construction at the end of the war and was therefore no longer delivered to the army railway. She drove civilian on the route Horné Orešany - Smolenice - Dobrá Voda - Široká with the number "2". Located as no. 5 in a private collection in Hronec (Slovakia)

After construction, the Kc 4-199 was delivered to the Manganorud and Kyzo factories in Chvaletice. Then operation at the Švermovo ironworks in Podbezová. In 1956 the locomotive was moved from Podbrezová to Liptovský Hrádok. Now it is ready for use in the Považská Lesná železnica open-air museum in Pribylina. (49.113896° 19.797829°) and was redesignated there as U 44.901. The year of manufacture is given as 1950 and the c/n is given as 2212.

The O&K from 1912 with c/n 5855 is definitely the U 45.905. It was delivered to the Fatherland Forestry Industry in Tressin. Later to the railway in Spišská Belá and to the Považská forest railway. After being decommissioned in the early 1970s, it went to the Liptovsky Hrádok Museum. The locomotive is now in the Pribylina Open Air Museum, Slovakia. Location: 49.113608° 19.797790° Note: The U 45.902 was built in 1916 by M.k.A.G. (Hungarian Royal Railway Machinery Works) in Budapest with c/n 4279. Designation until 1938 VEV1 and PLD1. It is ready for use in the Pribylina Museum.

Kobe is the capital and largest city of Hyogo Prefecture, and the seventh-largest city in Japan. Chuo-ku, Kobe holds one of the two current headquarters of Kawasaki, which probably explains the locomotive presence.

The new-build London Brighton & South Coast Railway H2 Class Atlantic 4-4-2 No. 32424 "Beachy Head" will be moved out of Sheffield Park’s Atlantic House where it has been built in February 2024, which will involve a large crane to lift the locomotive and its tender onto the tracks of the Bluebell Railway for the very first time, for it to be moved into the main workshop at Sheffield Park for work to start on its commissioning and testing, with the aim of having the brand new No. 32424 to be launched into service at the Bluebell Railway, during August 2024.
