Following some cosmetic restoration the former Midland Railway 2-4-0 No. 158A has left Locomotion Museum at Shildon and has relocated to Barrow Hill Roundhouse in Derbyshire for display there on an three year loan to them.

This is now the oldest extant O & K built steam locomotive in the world, since around 1994 with the destruction of 56/1896. This was previously at Sugar Factory Málaga named Max Orenstein, Spain that later went to Cordi Comella, Barcelona. In 2000 it was in Zaragoza and by 2001 in the Asturias Railway Museum until being stored in June, 2011. That October it went to the park railway in 8037 Letten, Zürich, Switzerland.

If it is true that this locomotive in scrapped, it was the oldest extant O & K built locomotive, still going though stored, in 1994. What a shame!

The ex NCB, North Gawber Colliery Hudswell Clarke built 0-6-0T Works No. 1857 will be leaving the West Somerset Railway as it is relocating to its new home at the Pontypool & Blaenavon Railway at Blaenavon in Monmouthshire, South Wales following a deal with its owner for the locomotive to remain there for the foreseeable future. No. 1857 will make its debut at the Pontypool & Blaenavon Railway during their Annual Steam Gala on the 9th to 11th of September 2022.

The ex Southern Railway Bulleid West Country Light Pacific No. 34092 "City of Wells" will be visiting the Spa Valley Railway for the very first time as the 2nd visiting locomotive for their 25th Anniversary Gala from the 26th to 29th of August 2022. No. 34092 will also stay a bit longer at the Spa Valley Railway for a ‘City of Wells Steam Up’ on the 3rd and 4th of September 2022.

Previously ARBED, Saarstahl, Werk Esch/Alsette, Luxembourg as No. 17. It returnedvto the builder in Kirchen 1983-1986 and, in 1987, went to the previous owner succcessor at AKZO-Chemie GmbH, Köln-Niehl as FLORIAN, and where i was in 1998.

Originally ARBED Saarstahl, Werk Esch/Alzette, Luxembourg their No. 12 that worked until 1980 when it returned to the builder where it was displayed outside the factory in Kirchen during 1985. Only in 1993 did it go to EF, Betzdorf.

Previously ARBED Saarstahl, Werk Esch/Alztte, Luxembourg No. 14 that, in 1979 became AKZO-Chemie GmbH, Köln-Niehl as FELIX that worked until 1994. It later went to Wertz GmbH, Aue and then, to Thomas Wamper Industries in 2004.

Previously Cellulose Fabrik Attisholz, Riedholz, Solothurn, Switzerland No. 64 that worked until 1991. In 1997 it went for display at Aristide Ecke Braind, Saintes, Charente-Maritime, France.

This is believed to be the last built extant Jung steam locomotive, which retired in 1981. In 1984 it was preserved by the Univeristy of Kaiserslautern and in early 1999 went on display for UNESCO at Alte Hütte, Völklingen where it still was in 2005.

Delivered to Martinswerk GmbH, Bergheim/Erft as their No. 5 that worked until 1972. It was first preserved here in 1996. In 2009 it moved to the DLM, Winterthur, Switzerland.

The Ironworks were owned by the Brothers Röchling which after 1970 became ARBED Saarstahl. The locomotive was procured in 1884 by the MEP, Paderborn for the EFO, Oberberg at Dieringhausen and where it was in 1999.

Delivered to the DB in the then West Germany at Frankfurt am Main as No. 23 105, when computerised in 1968 it became No. 23 105-0, working until 1972 when withdrawn from Bw Saarbrucken. During 1983 it was presented to the DGEG in Neustadt, Weinstraße and later went to the former Bw in Nürnberg-West that had a disastrous fire in 2005. It was moved the following year to residence in the SEH, in nearby Heilbronn. It has had, on paper, a DB running number of 088 231-6.

This is one of the last steam locomotives built by Jung and delivered to the Cellulose Fabrik Attisholz AG in Reidholz, Solothurn, Switzerland and where it was in 1995.

The actual owner was Klöckner Hüttenwerk, Hagen-Haspe as their No. 21, later No. 4 that retired in 1972. It went, in 1974, to the IHS Selfkantbahn and where it was in 2002.

Delivered to the DB (not DR) in the then West Germany towards the end of 1956 as No. 23 076 based in Trier, it was computerised as No. 23 076-3 from the start of 1968 and survived in service until the end of 1975 being withdrawn from Bw Saarbrücken, and purchased the following year for the SSN of Appeldorn where it remained in 2012.

Sorry, but this was NEVER DR but was originally delivered, as one of the last examples of steam power, to the DB as No. 23 071 in Trier until it was computerised, from January 1968 as No. 023 071-4 and worked until 1975 at Bw Saarbrücken. It was preserved, from thevend of 1977, by the VSM, Gelderland, Netherlands.

Built for Libby-Owens, Gelsenkirchen with no recorded identity. In 1978 it went to the WLH handler in Hattingen as WLH No. 21 but was subsequently rebranded as WLH 25 and was here in that identity until January 2001. In August of that year it went to Kieldampf GmbH, Kiel and, in 2013 was tranferred by low-loader to Hagenow Land.
