The actual built gauge of the locomotive is 954mm, which were originally built as Linder type articulated 0-8-0T locomotives, and is one of four supplied, not to the FdS but to the preceeding FcS. They were all rebuilt during 1916 to 2-8-0Ts.This has been at Monserrato, Sardinia, Italy since 1989.

Previously Carl Hornung, Torfwerk Himmelmoor, Quickborn that, in 1975, was placed on display privately by Reyner Biermann, Peckfitz until late 2005. The following year it was again purchased privately, on this occasion by D Bär, Gößnitz and spent some time with MaLoWa before, in 2008, going to the Feldbahn Schortetal, Ilmenau prior to going in the following year to the MTB, Chemnitz. It was noted at several other locations during 2011, the last being in August at Schwerin, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany

The correct build number is O&K 7696/1919, (i. e. Not 7996) delivered via Näfvegvarns Bruk to Tunaborgs Trävars AB, Tunaberg as KAROLINA. Only in 1946 did it go to Strömsäsbruk AB, Delary and by 1958 had been rebuilt to 643mm gauge. During the following decade it was purchased by Bjorn Lüning who re-constructed this to its original gauge of 600mm! It later went to the Sollentuna Enskilda Jernväg, Uppland and only in 1989 to the Bödabahn, Böda Skogsjarnväg, Fargerrör, Kalmar, Sweden where it was in 2012.

No recorded identity. First placed on display in a childrens playground in Seelze, outside Hannover during the 1970s until 08/2003 when it went to the Werkbahnmuseum, Hannover until late 2005 when then purchased for Aschersleben where it was in 2006.

Following work with the city Gas & Electric Co., Karlsruhe as No. 145, in 1980 this went to the AHE, Almstedt-Segeste as No. 17. In 1994 it was purchased privately by J Diehl with wnom it was until at least 2001 and, in 2002 it went to the SEH, Heilbronn.

Following its work in France it went to the now deceased Teddy Bostons Cadeby Light Railway, Leics., UK in the same identity. From here it joinrd the Midland Railway Centre and their GVLR.

Previously suppled through a J A Weitmann, München and later to be found working for A Bauer Gravel Pit, Kissengen bei Ausburg, Germany, and where it was at least 1965-1970, later moving with the same owner to Lüsslingen, Switzerland until 1991. In 1996 it joined the Schinznach Baumschulbahn, Schinznach-Dorf, Aargau, Switzerland as No. EV1-1 LUKAS and where it remained until at least 2007.

Previously supplied to the Danish Heating Association, Jllan going, in 1937 to Vildomosetilsyn as No. 3 and where it was until at least 1955. It was purchased privately in 1967 by the Herjl Hede and has served, since 1990, with the HVB with the Hedelands Veteranbane, Capital Region, Denmark.

This was built to a gauge of 716mm, subsequently having no recorded change. It was delivered to the HF, DRK at Kruschwitz, Germany. After WW1 it went to Sabliére de Nemours, France then privately to Noisy-sur-École, and in 2001, bearing boiler No. 5729, to CF des Chanteraines, Villeneuve-la-Garenne, Hauts-de-Seine, France.

Initially employed at Werk Itzehoe until early 1980. Two years later it went to scrap dealer Stender in the same town and then in the 1980s to the WIM, Dortmund, moving to Bocholt in 1989 and where it still was in 2007.

The locomotive initially finished work for the OO AB in 1956, being first displayed at Vihti in 1968. It was then purchased privately, in 1977, for the Lahnus Railway and then, in 1983, it went to the Nykarleby Museum Railway where it was, in 1993, at Kovjoki as No. 3 KOLOMONEN.

Delivered to the Revaler Festungshafen, Tallin (now Estonia) then Festungsbahn, Insel Kirkkomaa, Kotka, Finland. In 1946 it went to Papierfabrik Åänenkoski until 1964. and was displayed in 1982 in Selluloosatehdas, Åänenkoski.

The gauge, as built, is/was 1067mm supplied by San Carlos to Union Bamaria, Santiago de Guayaquil, Guayas, Ecuador. The locomotive was reported to be still extant here in 1993.

This was built to the oririginal Spannish gauge of 1674mm and delivered to Puerto de Valencia; then going to Alfaro sugar mill as No. 10, afterwards with a scrap dealer in Huesca, later in Mieres for restoration.

On September 1st, 2022, the Oregon Rail Heritage Center in Portland, Oregon, announced that it would be the new owner of Mt. Emily Lumber Co. Shay No. 1. The locomotive should be moved from Prineville to Portland reasonably soon.

As a fireless locomotive (as built) this was previously at Heferfabrik, Delft, Netherlands, later for Spiritusfabriek in the same city as No. 3. It went to the NSS, Katwijk and, in 1974 to van t Hoff, Pijnacker as MAAIKE where it was converted to a 0-4-0T. By late 1995 it was at Rijssens, Overrijssel, Netherlands, and where it remained in 2011.

I would suggest that Herr Köppe of Bitterfeld was only the intermediary supplier for Finkenherd an Strabag; later at Zellstoffwerk Kelheim., then to a scrap yard. In 1965 it was saved by a Dr. Brandlow of Passau and, in 1989, it went to Besucherbergwerk Grube Fortuna, Wezlar as No. 3 where it is/was at least 1995-1998.
