The locomotive originated from Menden and Schwerte Ironworks, Schwerte with no recorded identity. Only in 1968 when in the hands of Gerhard Moll was it given the number 89 7159. It was acquired by the DGEG in 1977.

The town of Meridian is planning to build an even bigger museum than what is currently there, which will hopefully include a train ride, and maybe even have 116 as the power!

The ex War Department and National Coal Board Vulcan Foundry built Austerity 0-6-0ST No. 72 has been withdrawn from service and is awaiting overhaul as it is undercover in the sheds at Rowsley awaiting decisions from its owner.

The overhaul of ex GWR Manor Class 4-6-0 No. 7812 "Erlestoke Manor" is now completed and the locomotive is operational again having undergone a steam test and moves around Tyseley Locomotive Works under her own steam again. With some final adjustments to be carried out No. 7812 will soon return to the Severn Valley Railway to begin running in trials and testing before entering service for the 2023 season there.

The ex GWR ‘Small Prairie’ 2-6-2T No. 5526 is visiting the Cholsey and Wallingford Railway this winter to work their Polar Express Train Rides over the Christmas season this year.

This was previously DDS (Danish Sugar) No. 3 at Assens, that worked until 1961, later going for display in Lemrig. In 1992 was purchased by the HVB.

Later moved to Domske Skkafabr. as No. 3 and later plinthed in a park in Assens.In 1985 it went to the VLT railway, being plinthed near Lemvig Stn. as No. 6 (again) and where it was in 2000. It has now, apparently, been moved again, on this occasion to Maribo.

The former Stewarts & Lloyds Kitson & Co. built 0-6-0ST (Works No. 5474) No. 47 "Carnarvon" has been relocated to Leaky Finders at Hele in Devon for her overhaul to progress more.

The famous ex Southern Railway rebuilt Bulleid Merchant Navy Class Pacific No. 35028 "Clan Line" has been moved to Leaky Finders at Hele in Devon for her repairs to be carried out for the Merchant Navy Locomotive Preservation Society to return her to the mainline again.

A small mining steam locomotive was installed in Tschair Park in 1968. The locomotive was taken from the Jelašnica brown coal mine, which was closed on August 1, 1967. The Jelašnica mine owned two such locomotives, which hauled mining trains with coal from the separation in Jelašnica to the transshipment ramp at the Niška Banja railway station. The length of this mining railway was 4.3 km. Mining trains consisted of 7-8 wagons with 10 tons of coal each, with a total of 80 tons of coal in one shift, 6-7 trains, and in an exceptional situation up to 15 In 1952, according to the decision of the Ministry of Mining of the Republic of Serbia, the Jelašnica Mine took over from the Jerima Coal Mine in Rakita two locomotives, 12 four-axle wagons with a capacity of 10 tons each, and two passenger two-axle wagons (classes). The Jelasnica miners named these locomotives "Baba Milka" and "Baba Kata". In 1968 "Baba Milka" reached Tshair Park it was removed and cosmetically restored at the MIN works in 2010 and on 15th September 2011 it was installed on Kralja Aleksandra Square to the liberators next to the building of the Niš Transport Section formerly the Niš Railway Station. Locomotive carries the No. 99.3-016

The overhaul on former United States Army Transportaion Corps and Southern Railway USA Class 0-6-0T Dock shunter No. 30065 "Maunsell" is progressing on at the Kent & East Sussex Railway as the boiler has all of its tubes in the cab and domes are being preped for painting into BR Green livery.

The former Comlucht Suicre Eireann Orenstein & Koppel built 0-4-0T No. 3 has returned to service following an overhaul carried out and is now the main operational steam locomotive at the Downpatrick & County Down Railway and will enter service over the Christmas season hauling their Lapland Express trains.

The ex NCB Kinneil Colliery Andrew Barclay built 0-4-0ST (Works No. 2157) No. 47 "Fambridge" has been sold to owners and has now left Mangapps Railway and has been moved to a private site temporarily.

In January 2013, being cosmetically restored inside the workshops; said to be for display in the Grand Royal Palace, that is Henschel 9359/1909.

I have this (or a 0-6-0T No. 54) built by Henschel 9359/1910 new to the RSR in 1435mm (Standardh) gauge that was converted during 1926 to 1000mm gauge, and was reported to be stored at Makkasan Works, Bangkok, Thailand in April 2011 ? I do not have details of previous Hunslet vehicles!

My previous attempt to correct this file led to nought. The listed build number is actually 9071 (NOT 3); Also the former BDŽ identity should be 362 (NOT 4).

Previously FSS No. 8974. Located during 2008 at the Museum del Cavatore in Carrara which may not now (2022) still exist ?, This is in the province of Massa and Carrara, Tuscany, Italy.
