This is Mallow’s No. 3 (each of the four Irish Sugar Co. Ltd., numbered their own locomotives, hence many repitions between factories) that managed to stay in situ during its whole career. It was withdrawn in 1962 and languished in various sites around Dublin before being purchased and restored at Downpatrick from 1987 to 2000.
