Originally delivered to F Béghin, Thumeries, France that later went to Société Vermandoise de Sucreries, Beauchamps, Somme and then to the Touristique du Parc de Thiévray-La Ferrière-sur-Risle, Conches until, in 1979, being plinthed in Ville de Carqueiranne, Var, France and where it still was in 2000. It has never had a recorded identity ?

This was originally supplied to Krebet Baru Sugar Mill, Java as their No. 1 which only later moved to Kebonagung, and where it was stored in 2001.

This locomotive was actually delivered to Assens Sugar Factory as their No. 7 which in 1934 went to a similar concern in Maribo. Only in 1935 did it go to Sakobøbing as No. Da 7. It moved to the Technical Museum, Denmark in 1966 and again, in 1981, to what became Hedelands Veteranbane, Central Region, Denmark

This was delivered to KPEV Elberfeld as their No. 2626 which later from 1925 became DRB, subsequently DRG and from 1937, DRB again. In 1945 it became PKP 01-258 and worked until late 1974 and then in a concrete sleeper factory in Jelonki where it was stored in 1991. It was later moved to Jaworzyna by 1997, possibly used for spare parts ?

This was previously CAI 303 Zufa Australia No. 1620, where it appears to have spent all its working life in Cuba until 1997, and still present in 2001.

This was originally Ruda-Oskarshamm, Sweden (hence the ROJ) Railway No. 5., then ÔsmJ and later State railway SJ No. 3039 prior to reaching Nassjö, Jönköping County, Sweden.

The original owner was Sugarfabrik Frankenthal as No. 1. It later performed at Süddeutsche Zucker AG, work Züttlingen-Jagst in the same identity until at least 1971 and with another until 1978 when it went Marxzell, and where it was in 1996.

Previously Petersen & Holm No. 9 from new. Vinderup is in Holstbro Municipality, Denmark.

This was built to 900mm gauge and I have no record of a subsequent conversion ?

This Cagney engine is currently on display at the Marshall Steam Museum in Yorklyn, DE. This engine is probably going to remain on display, and as of currently, probably will never operate. There is really not much else to say about it right now -Huck

Now painted black and lettered as Ruhrkohle AG and carries a No. 9 on the smoke of door and D-724 on the tanksides

Following a period of storage (when work stopped as a result of the pandemic) the former Duke of Sutherland’s private Highland Railway 0-4-4T No. 397 "Dunrobin" has been brought back into the Severn Valley Railway’s workshops at Bridgnorth Shed to continue its heavy overhaul and rebuild since its repatriation from Canada in 2011. Work that has been carried out so far on "Dunrobin" has seen a brand new cylinder block made and fitted to the locomotive along with brand new driving wheels as the orginals were beyond repair. The current work so far is completion of the machining work for the axleboxes and then setting the locomotive back onto its wheels again while new side tanks are made and work on the boiler continues in the boiler shop at Bridgnorth.

The ex Yates & Duxbury Ltd. Peckett built 0-4-0ST Works No. 1370 "May" has been put up for sale by its owners the Beet family to see the locomotive move on to a new home.

Delivery to BASF - Badische Anilin- und Sodafabrik AG, Ludwigshafen as No.23. Deployment in 1920 at Leunawerk, Corbetha/Merseburg, later at the Ammonia works Merseburg-Oppau GmbH, Merseburg. In 02/1925 it was at the Merseburg GmbH ammonia plant - Leuna works, Merseburg which became, in 07/1946 the Soviet joint-stock company for mineral fertilizers, Leuna chemical plant, Merseburg which became in 1954 VEB Leuna-Werke, Merseburg. In 1971it was in a playground, Halle (Saale)-Neustadt and went, in 1994 to Altmärkische Eisenbahnfreunde e. V., Oebisfelde and in 1995 to MBEF - Magdeburger Eisenbahnfreunde e. V., Magdeburg in the false identity of DR No. 89 6236 and resides on the dock side.

Further:- The heritage railway from Maribo - Randholm was operating during 2022 but this locomotive was not listed on their individual site:- www.museumsbanen.dk though another Henschel No. 17887/1920 working as their No. 19 was.

This is indeed Henschel & Sohn No. 17463/1920 (thank you Brian, I can now confirm this that was obviously a mis-type of the previous information) which was originally supplied to J Lollandske that, in 1966, went to the DJK Danish Jernbahnlub in Maribo, Lolland Municipallity, Denmark in the same identity. Whether or not the DJK is still present in Maribo is questionable, this may help:- www.danskejernbaneklun.dk

This was K-W Ag Georgesmarienhütte No. 2 that later became that only later went to this named location, also as No. 2 and where it was converted from 600mm gauge as built, to 900mm. It has been preserved since 1999.

The boiler of new build LNER (designed) A1 Pacific No. 60163 "Tornado" has returned to the UK after being overhauled where it was built at Dampflokwerk Meiningen works in East Germany. The boiler is now at Darlington Locomotive Works where it will undergo a steam test and have the cladding refitted before being returned to the locomotive. No. 60163 "Tornado" is in the final stages of her overhaul and will return to the mainline and heritage railway circuit again in 2023.

No. 34072 "257 Squadron" is to remain located at the Spa Valley Railway at Royal Tunbridge Wells in Kent as it has now taken residence there. As well as the Swanage Railway, the Spa Valley Railway is a South East base for Southern Locomotives Ltd. the owners of No. 34072 and other locomotives in they fleet.

Originally delivered to Hutten GmbH, Stettin (now Szczecin, Poland), This later went to the Klemsensow Sugar Factory as their No. 9. Upon retirement it was preserved privately as No. 10 by Anton Machauf, Ichenhausen, Bayern, Deuschland where it was in 2011.

Tampere is the name of the city. The name of the company that built this locomotive is Tampella. All information on Finnish locomotives is taken from works list compiled by Eljas Polho - the recognised expert on Finnish Railways

This was delivered to the HF Reserve Park, Berlin and designated No. 2332 At the conclusion of WW1 it went to the Ministry of Liberated Regions, Réseau de la Marne, France and later through a handler to J Boigues & Co., Usine Céramique, Decize. In 1960 it was purchased by M Pochiné of the le Petit Train de la Guette, Côte dOr and in 1986 by F Choppin & L Mouillet. and later went to the CF des Combes, Le Creusot where it was in 1998. It has since moved to Rillé, France.

This was delivered through a Berlin intermediary to Phillipe Holzmann, München as his No. 7. In 1957 it went to the Lime Works of Hotelshofen, Wuppertal-Dornap until being purchased privately, in 1968, in Remscheid until it went to Kranichstein in 1979 where, in 1981 it was converted from its build gauge of 900mm to 1000mm. It was then on loan to Hüinghausem Museum until 2004.
