Since you asked a question, and did not provide an email address to which we could respond, I will respond here. Each time you submitted the photos in question they were disapproved. Each photo you submitted was "scraped" from another website. There were copyright issues, and if there had not been the photos dimensions were too small to work effectively on our site. Also the dimensions of these photos were precisely the same as the copies on the site you saved from them. So. Your contributions were disapproved. Do not keep trying, please.

CR 2-8-0 No. KD5 373Posted by: Yuki Taki on Oct 17, 2024 @ 24:10:55
Serial No stamped on fourth driver axle suggests this locomotive to be originally JNR 9659. Builder is Kawasaki Heavy Industries, year 1915, builder no. 196. However, 9600s that were taken to the continent as part of the Japanese Army war effort was reassembled onsite with little regard for the original identity of the locomotives, so what remains is likely an amalgamation of various 9600 class components.

CR (JNR) 2-8-0 No. KD55-583 (39643)Posted by: Yuki Taki on Oct 17, 2024 @ 24:10:17
The locomotive has the JNR number 39643 clearly engraved into its frame and drivers, from what I can gather. It was originally JNR 39643, stricken from JNR roster on September 20 1938 and exported to China. Last JNR allocation was Asahikawa.

567 Loco Group 4-4-0 No. 567Posted by: Russell Newman on Oct 15, 2024 @ 08:10:09
The 567 Loco Group has placed an order for four 6ft 9? diameter driving wheel castings for the new-build Great Central Railway (LNER) D7 4-4-0 No. 567, in the next stage of construction. The group has carefully considered various alternatives for the work, taking into consideration risk, price, schedule and quality. The result of their deliberations was a decision to source all four driving wheel castings from the Trefoil Steel Co Ltd, Sheffield, the same source that the group used for the bogie wheels. The group and the manufacturer have resolved the details for the acceptance criteria, and Trefoil has already started trial pours on the pattern. This process will ensure that the wheels will be of the quality required for the locomotive’s future use, which will only be on preserved lines. They is also some reports saying the construction of the locomotive could be moving to CTL Seal at Sheffield in Yorkshire soon.
