This locomotive is DWM, Poznan 461/1942 and delivered to the DRB as No. 86.476. It subsequently became a ÖStB example of the class in 1945, itself being renamed ÖBB in 1953 and for whom it worked until retirement. This was never a DB locomotive.

DR (DRG) 2-8-2T No. 86.1056-0 (86.056)Posted by: Dale W Fickés on Sep 23, 2019 @ 14:09:22
I think there is slight confusion (on the site) as to the history of this locomotive. When delivered in 1923 it was DRB No. 86.056, retaining that number from 1945 until 1970 during its Reichbahn days. The DR renumbered it 86 1056 for its remaining service with that company and it is now running with its former DRB/DR number 86.056.

Howver, since expirty of its boiler ticet it has been a static exhibit with ÖGEG, thiough it is actually owned by the Technisches Museum. Wien.
