The body AATV, that has for many years looked after 141R 1199 on behalf of its owner SNCF, has recenty been wound up and the locomotive moved to a secure location within the grounds of the extensive but now closed workshops and yards at Le Mans, under the auspices of Cellule de Matérial Radié (CMR). The locomotive is again operational, at least for display purposes rather than at the head of special trains, and will appear once a year during the mid-September Weekend du Patrimoine at Gare Le Mans,

There is a locomotive similar to it in Pakistan plinthed at Faisalabad train station called 3078 built in 1908 by Beyer Peacock

The rebuilt Hunslet Austerity 0-6-0 Tender Loco No. 2890 "Douglas" is to go on a medium term loan to the Spa Valley Railway in Kent this summer. No. 2890 will arrive in mid June there and is on hire to the railway until at least March 2021.

The pioneer Beyer-Garratt, 0-4-0+0-4-0 K1 is to steam again this year in 2020 following the announcement by the Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railway as a deal with the Statfold Barn Railway to see it return to steam has been given the go ahead. No date has been set for the return of the K1 but it is planned to for the locomotive to appear at a Statfold Barn event first and then will be welcomed home to the Welsh Highland Railway in the late autumn.

GWR Large Prairie 2-6-2T No. 4144 will be going on a loan visit to the Kent & East Sussex Railway from April to September 2020. Which this will be the first time that a GWR Large Prairie 2-6-2T has visited the railway in preservation.

The 1926 La Meuse built 0-4-0T No. 6 "La Meuse" has left the Statfold Barn Railway and the UK for a new life at the St. Nicholas Abbey Heritage Railway on the Caribbean island of Barbados. No. 6 will be their 2nd operational steam locomotive on the island.

The boiler of No. 6024 "King Edward I" has returned from Riley and Sons Engineering Ltd. and has been refitted to the frames of the locomotive at Minehead as 6024 is now in her final stages of her overhaul.

The overhaul of No. 87 is pretty much complete and she will soon undergo testing and running-in. She will be ready in time for the start of the 2020 season in March.

The ex South African Railways 2ft gauge 2-6-2+2-6-2 Garratt No. 87 is now fully completed from its 10 overhaul and will soon enter service at the Welsh Highland Railway in its new South African Railways Black livery from March 2020 once her test runs and running trials are done.

Now in its final stages of its overhaul GWR Small Prairie 2-6-2T No. 4555 will visit the South Devon Railway for their Spring Steam Gala on the 14th and 15th March 2020. This is a special home coming visit for 4555 as the locomotive was one of the South Devon Railway’s original locomotives from when they first started running preserved steam trains there over 50 years ago.

With its overhaul now completed and after some light engine test runs on the mainline 3801 is returning back home to the NSW Rail Museum at Thirlmere in New South Wales, Australia where the locomotive will undergo more trial and test runs out on the mainline network of New South Wales.

No. 7027 is relocating to the Great Central Railway at Loughborough in Leicestershire which is to be its new home following its sale to its new private owner who is a supporter to the GCR. No. 7027 will now be part of the running fleet at the Great Central Railway where it will be restored to steam again and operate on the GCR for its first 10 years. It will not be made available for any main line operation.

The work that is being carried out to No. 2 "Superior" at Statfold Barn is rivetting work done on the frames of the locomotive.
